Zohar Ha’azinu
Deuteronomy 32:6
“Do you thus deal with YHVH, O foolish, and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you? Has He not made you and established you?”
Deuteronomy 32:5
“They have corrupted themselves; They are not His children, Because of their blemish: A perverse and crooked generation.”
#219
Rabbi Yehuda explains that because the people were a “crooked generation”, they didn’t appreciate the miracles God made for them in Egypt, and it caused the Shechina to go in Exile.

The letter ה of ‘הֲ לַיְהוָה’ is larger than the regular letters of the Torah. Even though it is a single letter, It stands as a separate word and has the aspect of Binah, the first ה of the YHVH name. The YHVH name that follows the letter ה represents Zeir Anpin. Another special ה in the Torah is found in the word ‘בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם’ from Genesis 2:4. The ה in this word is smaller than the regular letters of the Torah and it has the aspect of Malchut, the lower ה of YHVH name.
These letters represent the upper world and the lower world with Zeir Anpin between them.
Psalms 106:48
“Blessed be YHVH God of Israel From the world to the world! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise YHVH!”
Yessod of Zeir Anpin draws the light from upper Binah, the upper world to Malchut, the lower world.
#221
Rabbi Yehuda says that he saw in several places that regardless of where Israel was, and how their behavior was, the Holy One Blessed be never removed his love from Israel.
Leviticus 26:44
“Yet for all that(זֹאת), when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them; for I am YHVH their God.”
Lesson;
Even if we feel far from him, he always loves us and stays close to us, waiting for us to seek him, and like a good lighthouse, he will guide us to ‘safe harbor’.
