He continued to say, I looked at the sacred tools, namely the garments of the High Priest, and asked, what holiness is there in the clothes of a high priest?
He answers, we have learned that the priest’s garments are considered sacred in all the places they are mentioned;
Leviticus 16:4
“כְּתֹנֶת בַּד קֹדֶשׁ יִלְבָּשׁ וּמִכְנְסֵי בַד יִהְיוּ עַל בְּשָׂרוֹ וּבְאַבְנֵט בַּד יַחְגֹּר וּבְמִצְנֶפֶת בַּד יִצְנֹף בִּגְדֵי קֹדֶשׁ הֵם וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם אֶת בְּשָׂרוֹ וּלְבֵשָׁם.”
“He shall put the holy linen tunic and the linen trousers on his body; he shall be girded with a linen sash, and with the linen turban, he shall be attired. These are holy garments. Therefore he shall wash his body in water and put them on.”
It is also written;
Exodus 28:2
“וְעָשִׂיתָ בִגְדֵי קֹדֶשׁ לְאַהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ לְכָבוֹד וּלְתִפְאָרֶת.”
“And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.”
The sacred garments are like the supernal Father and mother that are Holy. The High Priest is the aspect of the supernal Father, and his clothes are called holy garments as the Torah stated above.

We have learned that the level of the high priest above, who is a father, and a high priest below are parallels. And so, the garments of honor of the Father are parallel to the honor of the High Priest below. And therefore, just as a father is sacred, so is the high priest. And just as the garments of honor of the Father are the garments of holiness, so the garments of honor of the High Priest are garments of holiness.
The scripture does not mention silver and copper in the garments of the high priest because they are attributed to another place and are not attributed to the supernal Father and mother, as it is written;
Exodus 27:17
“כָּל עַמּוּדֵי הֶחָצֵר סָבִיב מְחֻשָּׁקִים כֶּסֶף וָוֵיהֶם כָּסֶף וְאַדְנֵיהֶם נְחֹשֶׁת.”
“All the pillars around the court shall have bands of silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of copper.”
These are the sacred tools used in the Holy Tabernacle by the Nukva of Zeir Anpin.

But as for the garments of honor of the High Priest, no one can use them except for him because he has the Holy anointed oil on his head. With his special garments, he is like the supernal Father, and for that reason, his clothes have Gold to relate to Binah that is the secret of the garments of the supernal Father. The High Priest didn’t use silver and copper because they are associated with Zeir Anpin and the aspect of the pillars of the court.

Lesson;
The lower and the upper worlds are parallel to each other (the root word of ‘קבלה’ ‘Kabbalah’ means ‘parallel’). To activate the upper level, we need the proper action in the lower level, and it is called ‘Awakening from below.’
The Torah gives us the knowledge and describes the tools we need to use to ‘awaken’ the Light above. The High Priests needed special garments to connect to the level of Binah and draw the upper Light to this world.
The High Priest also had the unique ‘bridge’ to the level of Chokmah because the High Priest anointed him with the Holy Anointing Oil.
Rabbi Shimon’s wisdom was described as anointed with the Holy Anointing Oil.
