The secret of ‘Night,’ ‘ליל,’ and ‘לילה’ is about what the Holy One Blessed be He would do for Israel in the future. As it is written;
Isaiah 21:11
“The burden against Dumah. He calls to me out of Seir, “Observe, what of the night (לַּיְלָה)? Observe, what of the night (לֵּיל)?”
Like what we read in Exodus 12:42, we have ‘night’ and ‘observance’ here.

We learned that ‘night’ ‘לילה’ is called so because the male is included in it.
Isaiah 21:12
“The watchman said, “The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; Return! Come back!”
Morning and night are Zeir Anpin and Malchut. Morning is Chessed of Zeir Anpin as it is written about Abraham, who is a chariot for Chessed, “וַיַּשְׁכֵּם אַבְרָהָם בַּבֹּקֶר” “Abraham got up early in the morning” (Genesis 22:3).
It is also written; Psalm 5:4
“My voice You shall hear in the morning, YHVH; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.”
King David knew that the morning is a time of Chessed when we have a better time to pray, and Hashem listens to us.

Rabbi Chiya and Rabbi Yossi were sitting in front of Rabbi Shimon, who was teaching them the laws of the priests. They return to study every day. One day Rabbi Shimon went out and followed him until they arrived at a field where they sat down.

Lesson;
The Hebrew day starts at sundown and ends at the following day sundown. Because of that, when we say in Hebrew’ ליל שבת’, meaning ‘The night of Saturday,’ it actually refers to the night that begins at Friday sundown. In other languages, it refers to the night after sunset on Saturday. According to the Hebrew clock, Midnight is the midtime between sundown and sunrise, and not 12:00 am on the regular clock. Because the night is the period between sunset and sunrise, the true Midnight is the exact half time. The Hebrew clock represents the correct energy shifts during the night and day.
After Midnight the light of Chassadim begins to appear in the world, and the power of the other side that controls the night starts losing strength. It is an excellent time to study and connect to the Light of Chassadim that grows and reaches its highest point at sunrise.

Friday would be a good day to make a ** Donation, especially if you didn’t donate in the past week. Giving on Friday, which is an aspect of Yessod, expands the vessel for the Light and honor of Shabbat.
** Your donation doesn’t have to be given to the same place every week. You can alternate or split your donation among those who benefit you spiritually.
