Zohar Behaalotcha
Continued from previous DZ

#119
When the Ox swarms, several battalions of Klipot, entities from the negative side, emerge from a pit of the great abyss. They all swarm and roam before him. Wrath and the book in which all iniquities are listed come before him, for all the world’s iniquities are registered in the book.

#120
Seven rivers of fire are drawn before him. When thirsty, he goes to the Dinur River and draws it in one gulp, and the river is refilled as it was and did not get dry. It is not like a dry stream whose waters ceased. All these are the armies of this ox, which is the secret of Gabriel, drawing consuming fire.
And if it was not for the side of the Lion that brings out a river of water, which is the secret of the Light of Chassadim, that extinguishes the flames, the world could not have endured their judgments.

#121
The darkness of the sun, meaning the shadow, is in the Left line, in a state of exists and not exists. Some angels that execute judgments wander in the dark. And the river on the left is the black fire of darkness. It is not correct to assume that there are no other types of fire here like white fire, black fire, red fire, or fire contained in two colors, that is, green—the source of the rivers above in Binah that have the four types of fire. From Binah, the fire is drawn to the lower ones; Ox in Zeir Anpin and the angel Gabriel in Malchut. The four types of fires of Gevurah from the Left are included in them.

Lesson;
To understand the meaning of “darkness of the sun,” we look up to space between the planets. It’s dark even though we know that the sun’s rays travel in space in all directions. The Light of the sun is revealed only when reflected by another object, and the direct light of the sun is harmful. It is called shadow, judgment, and river of darkness in this state.
Expressing a desire for the self alone is the aspect of receiving direct Light from the sun, and it is too strong and comes attached to the forces of darkness. The Light is revealed positively in our lives when we ‘reflect’ it, meaning apply restrictions, and share to ‘push away’ darkness and keep the Light. This is the secret and power of tithing. The Light from above, meaning the nine sefirot, Keter to Yessod, arrives at the 10th, Malchut (material world, darkness). When we give the tenth (tithe) to the Light/Life, we reveal the Light of the nine sefirot of Light in our lives. Those who avoid sharing their gift experience the aspect of ‘darkness’ and lose the tenth without earning the merits of sharing and Tzedakah.
Malachi 3:10
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says YHVH Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

The words of the prophets are straightforward and require no additional explanations.
