Zohar Shelach Lecha

#203
When one convert makes a conversion, a soul flies from that palace and enters under the wings of the Shechina, and the Shechina kisses her because she was born from the souls of Tzadikim. The soul is sent into the convert and dwells in him. And from that moment, he is called a convert of Justice (גר צדק). This is the secret that is written;
Proverbs 11:30
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.”
As the Tree of Life, which is Zeir Anpin, brings forth souls, so is the Tzadik that his fruits are the making of new souls.

#204
The head of the Yeshiva quotes;
Genesis 11:30
“But Sarai was barren; she had no child.”
He asked; when it says “Sarah was barren,” we know that she has no child; why is it written, “she had no child.” He answers; that she did not give birth to children but would give birth to souls. The devotion and desire of these two Tzaddiks (Abram and Sarai) during their time in Harran would give birth to souls for the converts, as the Tzaddiks do in the Garden of Eden. As it is written;
Genesis 12:5
“Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people (souls,הַנֶּפֶשׁ ) whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan.”

Lesson;
The Torah forbids us from ‘spilling seeds.’ This Zohar teaches us that every unification of man and woman creates souls. If the couple is pure, pure souls come out and spread in the world. If the unification is not pure, then souls of negative entities are created.
