Zohar Balak

#462
Numbers 23:15
“And he said to Balak, “Stand here by your burnt offering while I meet the LORD over there.”
Balaam planned that by their sorceries and the offerings on the seven altars, he could uproot the Shechina, Malchut, from protecting Israel and from the blessing that the Holy One, Blessed be He, put in his mouth.
After that, it is written;
Numbers 23:4
“And God met Balaam, and he said to Him, “I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”
God did not accept Balaam’s offerings, and he sent him back to Balak, “Return to Balak, and thus (כה) you shall speak.” (Numbers 23:5) and deliver the words of the Shechina.

#463
At first, Balaam told Balak (Numbers 23:3) “הִתְיַצֵּב עַל עֹלָתֶךָ” “Stay here by your burnt offering.” The word “כה” is not mentioned. Then in Numbers 23:15, we read “הִתְיַצֵּב כֹּה עַל עֹלָתֶךָ” “ “Stand here (כה) by your burnt offering.” Balaam added the word כה, which is a reference to the Shechina, as explained previously (#460).

#464
Numbers 23:7
“And he took up his oracle and said: “Balak the king of Moab has brought me from Aram, From the mountains of old (הַרְרֵי קֶדֶם). ‘Come, curse Jacob for me, And come, denounce Israel!’”
“Curse” “אָרָה” comes from Songs 5:1 “אָרִיתִי מוֹרִי עִם בְּשָׂמִי” “I have gathered my myrrh with my spice.” The words “אָרָה”-“curse” and “אָרִיתִי”-” gathered” are related. Balaam’s intention was to gather them from their level of Malchut and cast them as stated “denounce Israel”, where Israel is the level of Zeir Anpin. Balaam wanted to create a disconnection between Malchut and Zeir Anpin that would cause anger in the higher level and uproot Israel from its place in Malchut as we read;
Psalm 7:12
“God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.”
