Zohar Balak
Continued from previous DZ
#481
Rabbi Chizkiyah said Balaam struck his donkey three times and charged her with his witchcraft spells. Against that, Israel were blessed to come to the Holy Temple and be seen by the Holy King three times a year.

#482
Numbers 24:1
“וַיַּרְא בִּלְעָם כִּי טוֹב בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה לְבָרֵךְ אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא הָלַךְ כְּפַעַם בְּפַעַם לִקְרַאת נְחָשִׁים וַיָּשֶׁת אֶל הַמִּדְבָּר פָּנָיו.”
“Now when Balaam saw that it pleased YHVH to bless Israel, he did not go as at other times, to seek to use sorcery (נְחָשִׁים), but he set his face toward the wilderness.”
He asks, “to seek to use sorcery (snakes).” Rabbi Yossi says that he was going with all his sorcery the first two times and wanted to curse Israel. Since he realized the will of the Holy One Blessed be He, who said “return to Balak,” for my sons do not need your words. They will receive other words from “כה”, the Shechina in Malchut, as it is written, “and thus (כה) shall speak.”
“כה” shall speak and not Balaam because “כה” rules over all rulers, sorcerers, magicians, and evil species, so that they cannot harm the children of Israel. Because of that, Balaam wanted to change and look at Israel with his evil eye.

As we come closer to Rosh Hashanah, we should pay our debts and stand free of judgments in front of the supreme judge. If you benefit from the Daily Zohar studies and don’t make donations from time to time, now would be a good time to make a ** Donation - Rosh Hashanah and support the Daily Zohar that makes Zohar studies available, free for all.
** Before Rosh Hashanah, we make efforts to pay our ‘debts’ to ALL channels of Lights that benefit you regularly.
