Israel is strengthened by the water well, which is the secret of the Nukva. A person gets strength when he follows the precepts of the Torah, that is, by wearing a tzitzit, which is a mitzvah that a person wraps himself in it, and also the tefillin that he properly puts on his head and arm. The Tefillin has a supreme secret because the Holy One, Blessed be He, is with the man who adorns himself with his prayers and wraps himself in a tzitzit. Everything is the secret of the supreme faith, that is the Nukva that becomes corrected by the mitzvot that the person does.
The ‘well’ is the aspect of the lower letter הH of the YHVH name. We are nourished from this well. When we make our spiritual connections, we cause water to flow from the supernal river to the well below. With that, we can draw from the well. The Mitzvah of Tzitzit is important because it is on our body, and we constantly connect to the Light while we wear it. The Tefillin is a connection to Zeir Anpin. We do it in the morning to draw the Light of Chassadim.
He who does not wrap himself in a tzitzit, and does not adorn himself with tefillin every day, is like, that the faith does not rest on him, and the fear of his Master is removed from him. His prayer is not a proper prayer.
The patriarchs would strengthen themselves in the supreme faith, which is the secret of complete faith that fills the supreme well with Light.
Schedule times for prayers, study, Tzedakah, and any good deed to keep the water flowing into your personal well. Some you set for daily connection, like studying the Zohar daily, Tehilim, give Tzedakah as often as you can, at least once a week. Friday is good because it increases the vessel and the capacity of the ‘well’ before the Light of Shabbat.
Those who don’t wear Tzitzit and Tefillin can dedicate special clothing for Shabbat or a nice corner at home when they sit to study and meditate. A proper routine helps a lot to continue a flow of water to the well so we can never go ‘dry.’
