123. זֶה שֶׁלִּי. בְּרֹאשׁ הַחֹדֶשׁ אֲנִי הוּא בְכִסּוּי, וּבַעֲשָׂרָה לַחֹדֶשׁ אֲנִי הוּא, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאֲנִי בְּחָמֵשׁ רִאשׁוֹנוֹת, וּבְחָמֵשׁ אַחֲרוֹנוֹת, וּבְחָמֵשׁ שְׁלִישִׁיּוֹת. בִּתְחִלַּת הַחֹדֶשׁ אֲנִי הוּא מִשּׁוּם חֲמִשָּׁה יָמִים. בַּעֲשָׂרָה לַחֹדֶשׁ אֲנִי הוּא מִשּׁוּם חֲמִשָּׁה יָמִים אֲחֵרִים. בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ אֲנִי הוּא מִשּׁוּם חָמֵשׁ שְׁלִישִׁיִּים.
124. מָה הַטַּעַם כָּל זֶה? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁכָּל חֹדֶשׁ זֶה הוּא מֵעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן, וְעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן בְּסוֹד חָמֵשׁ הוּא, בְּכָל זְמַן וּזְמַן, וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ חֹדֶשׁ זֶה הוּא בְכִסּוּי וְלֹא בְגִלּוּי, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן בְּכִסּוּי הוּא, וְכָל דְּבָרָיו בְּהֶסְתֵּר. וְחֹדֶשׁ זֶה הוּא שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְבַדּוֹ. כֵּיוָן שֶׁמַּגִּיעַ יוֹם הַט”ו לַחֹדֶשׁ, אָז מִתְגַּלֶּה. הַכֹּל הוּא מַגִּיעַ בְּהִתְחַדְּשׁוּת הַלְּבָנָה, וְנִשְׁלֶמֶת הַלְּבָנָה וּמְאִירָה מֵאִמָּא הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, וְעוֹמֶדֶת לְהָאִיר לַתַּחְתּוֹנִים מִתּוֹךְ הָאוֹר הָעֶלְיוֹן, וְעַל זֶה נִקְרָא רִאשׁוֹן, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ויקרא כג) וּלְקַחְתֶּם לָכֶם בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן. עַד עַכְשָׁו עוֹמְדִים כָּל הַיָּמִים בְּסוֹד עֶלְיוֹן. מִכָּאן יוֹרְדִים לְסוֹד תַּחְתּוֹן.

Hashem has the seventh month concealed. He is at the beginning of the month, which is Rosh Hashanah. Then on the tenth day of the month, which is Yom Kippur, because he is in the first five days of the month and in the following five days of the month. He also in the day after five three days periods.
The month is divided into two parts of 15 days with Right, Left, and Middle lines on the first (upper) part, that is Binah. It is a covered level. The same three lines on the lower part, Malchut, which is a revealed level.
On the fifteenth of the month, we have five times three days.
Since the lines are drawn from Binah, which includes five sefirot of Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, and Hod, there are five sefirot in each line.

He asks, what is the point of it being covered up to the fifteen of the month? And he replies that this entire month is from the supernal world, that is, Binah. Because the first six months are from Binah. The supernal world is the secret of five because, in every line, there are the five sefirot of Chessed, Gevura, Tiferet, Netzach, and Hod. For this reason, this month is under cover and not reveled. The Holy One, Blessed be He alone, has this month, not the people.
Since the fifteenth day of the new moon has the aspect of the entire year, which is the first month, Nisan, the fifteenth day has a full moon, and the aspect of Malchut, and the lights are revealed in the lower level.
For that reason, the fifteenth day of the month is called ‘first’, as it is written;
Leviticus 23:40
“וּלְקַחְתֶּם לָכֶם בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן פְּרִי עֵץ הָדָר כַּפֹּת תְּמָרִים וַעֲנַף עֵץ עָבֹת וְעַרְבֵי נָחַל וּשְׂמַחְתֶּם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם שִׁבְעַת יָמִים.”
“And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before YHVH your God for seven days.”
Up until the fifteenth day, which is the holiday of Sukkot, all the sefirot were in the upper world that is Binah, and from the fifteenth on the lights revealed, and therefore the fifteenth day is called “first.”
