Psalm 84:12
“כִּי שֶׁמֶשׁ וּמָגֵן יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים חֵן וְכָבוֹד יִתֵּן יְהוָה לֹא יִמְנַע טוֹב לַהֹלְכִים בְּתָמִים.”
“For YHVH God is a sun and shield; YHVH will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.”
“Sun,” “שמש” and “Sheiled” “ומגן” are aspects of the Holy One, Blessed Be He. “Sun” is the Holy name YHVH as Zeir Anpin with all levels, is a calm state.
“Sheild” is the secret of the holy name called “God (ELHYM)” “אלהים,” which is the Malchut, as it is written;
Genesis 15:1
“אַחַר הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה הָיָה דְבַר יְהוָה אֶל אַבְרָם בַּמַּחֲזֶה לֵאמֹר אַל תִּירָא אַבְרָם אָנֹכִי מָגֵן לָךְ שְׂכָרְךָ הַרְבֵּה מְאֹד.”
“After these things, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
“I am” “אנכי” is the aspect of Malchut and the Shechina that protects us in Malchut.
“Sun” “שמש” and “Sheiled” “ומגן” is the secret of the unified name of יהוה + אלהים (YHVH and ELHYM). It points to the Unification of Zeir Anpin and Malchut.
“YHVH will give grace and glory;” Even though grace and honor are drawn with ease, “Shield” is drawn with strength to those who have enemies. Both come in one secret, from the connection of YHVH and ELHYM.

“No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly” is a secret of the first Light that is Chessed, as written;
Genesis 1:4
“וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים אֶת הָאוֹר כִּי טוֹב וַיַּבְדֵּל אֱלֹהִים בֵּין הָאוֹר וּבֵין הַחֹשֶׁךְ.”
“And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.”
The righteous can connect to the first Light, but not the wicked because the Holy One, Blessed be He concealed the first Light from them in this world and the world to come.
Job 38:15
“וְיִמָּנַע מֵרְשָׁעִים אוֹרָם וּזְרוֹעַ רָמָה תִּשָּׁבֵר.”
“From the wicked, their light is withheld, And the upraised arm is broken.”
