Zohar Acharei Mot
Continued from previous DZ
#128
In Gush Chalav (a city), there was a man who, wherever he struck with his hand, he caused death, and people were not getting close to him. In Syria, there was a man who, wherever he looked, everything would turn bad even if his intention were good. One day a man was walking in the market, and his face was shining, that man came and looked at him, and his eye burst. Because of this, for everything, whether good or bad, someone is built for it. Therefore, it is written, “A good eye will be blessed.” Do not read “blessed” but “blesses.”

Lesson;
We should never belittle the power of the eyes, our own or others. Avoid people with different or strange eyes. If they look crooked or abnormal, then if not yet corrected, in most cases, that person may radiate energy that we should avoid.

#129
We learned about this “אִישׁ עִתִּי” ‘suitable man’ who was going with the scapegoat to the desert, and when he got there with the goat, he would go up the mountain and pushed the goat away with both hands and before reaching half the mountain, the goat breaks limb by limb. And that person would say, “So shall the iniquities of your people be removed…”. And because of that, the prosecutor rises and becomes Israel’s defender (as above in #118), then the Holy One, Blessed be he, takes all the iniquities of Israel, and everything that is written, in these judgments above, to mention the iniquities of the people, and throws them into this as the scapegoat was thrown from the mountain to the place called “מְצוּלוֹת יָם” “the depths of the sea,” It is the secret of the place of darkness and judgments that is on the left side, under Malchut, called “ים” “Sea.” As it is written;
Micah 7:19
“יָשׁוּב יְרַחֲמֵנוּ יִכְבֹּשׁ עֲו‍ֹנֹתֵינוּ וְתַשְׁלִיךְ בִּמְצֻלוֹת יָם כָּל חַטֹּאותָם.”
“He will again have compassion on us And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.”

Friday would be a good day to make a ** Donation, and support the Daily Zohar projects, especially if you didn’t donate in the past week. Giving on Friday, which is an aspect of Yessod, expands the vessel for the Light and honor of Shabbat.
** Your donation doesn’t have to be given to the same place every week. You can alternate or split your donation among those who benefit you spiritually.
