Zohar Shemot
Continued from previous DZ
#135
Rabbi Shimon said, “Certainly now is the time when the Holy One, Blessed be He, remembers His children and sends down two tears into the great sea. And as they descend, they meet a pipe of blazing fire sinking together into the sea. Rabbi Shimon and the friends wept.

#136
Rabbi Shimon said, we have already revealed the secret of the letters of the Holy Name in the context of the awakening of the Holy One, Blessed be He, towards His children. But now I must disclose what no other man was permitted to reveal, except for the merit of this generation, which will sustain the world until the coming of the Mashiach. Rabbi Shimon then instructed Rabbi Elazar, his son, and Rabbi Abba to stand up, and they stood. Rabbi Shimon wept again and said, “Woe, who will be able to endure the exile when I see it will be prolonged?

Lesson;
Zohar Shemot #342 on
Rabbi Elazar explains that during the process of Creation of the worlds, Malchut ascended to Binah, and the Light אור of Binah became אויר ‘Air” because of the aspect of judgment in Malchut that was mixed with the Light of Binah. This process formed two judgments. When the Holy One, Blessed be He, has Mercy on the souls of Israel, he lowers two tears into the great sea, Malchut, to sweeten the judgments and keep them away from Israel, transforming judgment into Mercy.
