Rabbi Shimon stood up and said,
Isaiah 26:13
“יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ בְּעָלוּנוּ אֲדֹנִים זוּלָתֶךָ לְבַד בְּךָ נַזְכִּיר שְׁמֶךָ.”
“O YHVH our God, masters besides You Have had dominion over us, But by You, only we make mention of Your name.”

This verse was explained before. However, in this verse, there is a profound secret related to the secret of faith. “יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ” “YHVH our God” represents the beginning of the uppermost secrets, namely Chokmah and Binah, from which all illumination emerges to kindle all the lights. This means that all the Mochin of Zeir Anpin and the worlds of Beriah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah originate from these Chokmah and Binah, referred to as “יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ” “YHVH our God.” There lies the entire secret of faith, which is the Nukva, as in the verse;
Genesis 2:22
“וַיִּבֶן יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת הַצֵּלָע אֲשֶׁר לָקַח מִן הָאָדָם לְאִשָּׁה וַיְבִאֶהָ אֶל הָאָדָם.”
“Then the rib which YHVH God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.”
The rib is the secret of the Nukva, who is called faith “אֱמוּנָה” ‘Emunah.’

The phrase “בעלונו אדונים זולתך” “besides You, no other masters have dominion over us” means that for the people of Israel, no one can rule over them except for this supreme name, “יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ” “YHVH our God,” as previously explained. However, in the current state of exile, the Other Side has dominion over them. This is the meaning of “besides You, no other masters have dominion over us.”

Lesson;
The holy names and our firm faith are our protection even in exile.
