Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -4501

Hebrew translation:

163. וְלָמָּה נִקְרֵאת סְעָרָה? שֶׁמַּסְעִירָה הַכֹּל, מַעְלָה וּמַטָּה. בָּאָה מִן הַצָּפוֹן, שֶׁהֲרֵי מֵאוֹתוֹ צַד הִיא בָּאָה, וְסִימָנְךָ – (ירמיה א) מִצָּפוֹן תִּפָּתַח הָרָעָה, שֶׁהֲרֵי כַּמָּה צְדָדִים אֲחֵרִים נֶאֱחָזִים בְּאוֹתָהּ רוּחַ סְעָרָה, וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ יוֹצֵאת מִן הַצָּפוֹן.
164. עָנָן, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהִיא פְּסֹלֶת הַזָּהָב. וּמִצַּד הַצָּפוֹן זֶה נֶאֱחָז. וְזוֹהִי הַנְּקֻדָּה הָאֶמְצָעִית שֶׁעוֹמֶדֶת בְּחָרְבָּה. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁיּוֹדֵעַ לְפַתּוֹת, שׁוֹלֵט בְּתוֹךְ אוֹתָהּ נְקֻדָּה שֶׁל יִשּׁוּב וְכָל דִּבְרֵי הַיִּשּׁוּב, פְּרָט לְאֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל. כְּשֶׁיִּשְׂרָאֵל שׁוֹרִים בְּתוֹכָהּ, הוּא (לֹא) שׁוֹלֵט עֲלֵיהֶם. וְאַחַר שֶׁחָטְאוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל, (לֹא) שׁוֹלֵט עַל הָאָרֶץ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁכָּתוּב הֵשִׁיב אָחוֹר יְמִינוֹ מִפְּנֵי אוֹיֵב.

And why is it called a whirlwind? Because it whirls everything above and below, and none can stand before it. It comes from the north, the side of Gevura, harsh judgments, as it is written,
Jeremiah 1:14
“וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלָי מִצָּפוֹן תִּפָּתַח הָרָעָה עַל כָּל יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ.”
“Then YHVH said to me: “Out of the north calamity shall break forth On all the inhabitants of the land.”
It comes from the north, that is, to draw the Light of Chokma from the left line like all the Klipot. However, other aspects besides the north hold that whirlwind. Therefore, the scripture says they are “coming out of the north” (Ezekiel 1:4), meaning they also receive judgments from the north.

Cloud represents the second Klipa in Ezekiel’s vision, called “ענן גדול” “the great cloud”. It is called a cloud because it is the waste of gold (aspect of the left line). It holds the north side, left line. That is, by the left line, which is the middle point in places of destruction. Because the left side knew how to seduce Eve, it could rule the middle point of settlement and all matters of the settlement, except for the land of Israel. When Israel dwelled within it, the left did not dominate it, but after Israel sinned, it also dominated the Holy Land. For it is written,
Lamentation 2:3
“גָּדַע בָּחֳרִי אַף כֹּל קֶרֶן יִשְׂרָאֵל הֵשִׁיב אָחוֹר יְמִינוֹ מִפְּנֵי אוֹיֵב וַיִּבְעַר בְּיַעֲקֹב כְּאֵשׁ לֶהָבָה אָכְלָה סָבִיב.”
“He has cut off in fierce anger Every horn of Israel; He has drawn back His right hand From before the enemy. He has blazed against Jacob like a flaming fire Devouring all around.”
