Zohar Acharei Mot
Continued from previous DZ
#147
During the time before sundown, all forces seeking judgments are called the “owner of wailing” because they come from a line and a half of the left side, from which judgments emanate, as mentioned above. Therefore, they wail as they cannot endure these judgments. And they sing at that hour. And strife prevails in the world. That time is when the Holy One, Blessed be He, awakens Isaac, the left line of Zeir Anpin. He arises and judges the wicked, those who transgress the words of the Torah, and seven rivers of fire, corresponding to Chesed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yessod, Malchut, are drawn out over the heads of the wicked, and a flame of burning coals is awakened from above to below. And then, Abraham, who represents Chessed, returns to his place. That is, Chessed returns to its root and disappears from the lower beings, as it said, “וְאַבְרָהָם שָׁב לִמְקֹמוֹ,” “and Abraham returned to his place” (Genesis 18:33).
And the day leaves, and the wicked in Gehennam cry out, saying, “אוֹי לָנוּ כִּי פָנָה הַיּוֹם כִּי יִנָּטוּ צִלְלֵי עָרֶב” “Woe to us, for the day goes away, For the shadows of the evening are lengthening” (Jeremiah 6:4)
And at that time, one must be careful in the prayer of Mincha, for it holds the transformative power to subdue judgments and bring about a sense of peace and harmony.

#148
When the night arrived, the forces called “מִחוּץ לַפָּרֹכֶת” “outside the veil,” sing songs, and judgments aroused from below, namely the judgments of Malchut. They roam and wander in the world. They sing songs until the night is divided, that is, one and a half parts (#145). After the night is divided, all the others gather together, that is, those of the one and a half part after midnight, and they say praises as it is said, “וּתְהִלֹּת יְהוָה יְבַשֵּׂרוּ” “And they shall proclaim the praises of YHVH” (Isaiah 60:6)
Rabbi Yehuda said that when the desire is found in the morning, the praises of YHVH are told.

Lesson;
Previously (#146), we learned that the morning is the time of the right line, Chessed, Abraham. The afternoon is the time under the control of the Left, Gevurah, and Isaac. The forces of judgment have more power, and we should be careful with our actions. The prayer of Mincha subdues the judgments that may have been attached to us. During the week, it is preferred to pray Mincha Ketanah late in the afternoon, before the sun goes down, to cleanse ourselves from any judgment. On Fridays and Holidays, when the Light of Shabbat and holidays appear in the middle of the day, judgments are pushed away, and we pray Mincha early (Mincha Gedola).
It is not just good, but essential to wake up early (before sunrise) and benefit from the Light of Chassadim. This practice instills a sense of discipline and dedication, and helps create a greater vessel for the light of Chassadim that appears in the morning.
