375. וּבִזְמַן שֶׁתָּשׁוּב הַגְּבִירָה לִמְקוֹם הֵיכָלָהּ וְהַמֶּלֶךְ יִזְדַּוֵּג עִמָּהּ בְּזִוּוּג אֶחָד, אָז יִתְחַבֵּר הַכֹּל כְּאֶחָד בְּלִי פֵרוּד. וְעַל זֶה כָּתוּב, בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִהְיֶה ה’ אֶחָד וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד. בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, בִּזְמַן שֶׁתָּשׁוּב הַגְּבִירָה לַהֵיכָל, אָז הַכֹּל יִמָּצֵא אֶחָד בְּלִי פֵרוּד. וְאָז – (עובדיה א) וְעָלוּ מוֹשִׁיעִים בְּהַר צִיּוֹן לִשְׁפֹּט וְגוֹ’.
376. שֶׁלָּמַדְנוּ, אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן, לֹא תִכָּנֵס הַגְּבִירָה בְּשִׂמְחָה לְהֵיכָלוֹ עַד שֶׁתִּדּוֹן מַלְכוּת עֵשָׂו וְתִקַּח מִמֶּנּוּ נְקָמוֹת שֶׁגָּרְמָה כָּל זֶה. אַחַר כָּךְ תִּזְדַּוֵּג עִם הַמֶּלֶךְ וְתִהְיֶה שִׂמְחָה שְׁלֵמָה. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וְעָלוּ מוֹשִׁיעִים בְּהַר צִיּוֹן לִשְׁפֹּט אֶת הַר עֵשָׂו – בָּרִאשׁוֹנָה, וְאַחַר כָּךְ – וְהָיְתָה לַה’ הַמְּלוּכָה. מִי הַמְּלוּכָה? זוֹ הַגְּבִירָה. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וְהָיְתָה לַה’ הַמְּלוּכָה. וְאַחַר שֶׁיִּזְדַּוְּגוּ כְאֶחָד מַה כָּתוּב? וְהָיָה ה’ לְמֶלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִהְיֶה ה’ אֶחָד וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד.

And at the time when the Matron (Shechinah, Malchut) returns to the place of the palace (the Heichal), and the King (Zeir Anpin) unites with her in a complete union, then everything will be joined together as one, without separation. And therefore it is written: “בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִהְיֶה ה’ אֶחָד וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד” “On that day, Hashem will be One and His Name One” (Zechariah 14:9). “On that day” — this refers to the time when the Matron returns to the palace, then everything will be found in a state of unity, with no separation. And at that time, it is written: “וְעָלוּ מוֹשִׁעִים בְּהַר צִיּוֹן לִשְׁפֹּט אֶת הַר עֵשָׂו וְהָיְתָה לַיהוָה הַמְּלוּכָה” “And saviors will ascend Mount Zion to judge the Mount of Esau…” (Obadiah 1:21).
Notes:
The union of Zeir Anpin and Malchut represents the spiritual harmony necessary for the ultimate Divine unity in the world. When this union is restored — symbolized by the Matron returning to the palace — the verse “Hashem will be One and His Name One” will be fulfilled in its totality. This unity will bring about judgment and correction of spiritual distortion (the “Mount of Esau”) and initiate the redemptive process led by saviors ascending Zion — the forces of holiness.
This reminds us that the goal of creation is to reunify the spiritual opposites and to establish Hashem’s Oneness not only in essence but in full manifestation within all worlds.

As we have learned, Rabbi Shimon said: The Matron (Shechina, Malchut) will not enter the palace in joy until the kingdom of Esau is judged, and she takes vengeance from it — for it caused all this (suffering and exile). She will unite with the King (Zeir Anpin) only after that, and then the joy will be complete. This is the meaning of the verse: “And saviors shall ascend Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esau” (Obadiah 1:21) — this happens first. And afterward, it is written: “And the kingdom shall be the YHVH’s.” — What is this ‘kingdom’? It refers to the Queen (Shechina, Malchut). This is as it is written: “And the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.” And what is written after they (Z “A and Malchut) unite together? “And Hashem shall be King over all the earth; on that day Hashem will be One and His Name One” (Zechariah 14:9).
Notes:
The phrase “Hashem will be One and His Name One” expresses this restored unity at all levels of existence — a condition that cannot occur while Esau’s dominion persists. This highlights the importance of justice preceding peace and of spiritual repair preceding full redemption.
