337. אֲבָל בַּתּוֹרָה, שִׁבְעִים פָּנִים לַתּוֹרָה בְּלָשׁוֹן אַחַת. וְזֶה יְסוֹד. ו’ הֲלָכָה אַחַת, חָכְמָה קְטַנָּה – מַלְכוּת, שֶׁבָּהּ שִׁבְעִים לָשׁוֹן כְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן סוֹד, מִן יְסוֹד. וִיסוֹד הוּא לְשׁוֹן הַקֹּדֶשׁ, סוֹד הַמֶּרְכָּבָה, בְּשִׁבְעִים קָתֶדְרָאוֹת, עֲלֵיהֶם נֶאֱמַר, כָּל הָעוֹנֶה אָמֵן יְהֵא שְׁמֵיהּ רַבָּא מְבָרַךְ בְּכָל כֹּחוֹ, קוֹרְעִים לוֹ גְּזַר דִּינוֹ שֶׁל שִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה. לָשׁוֹן אֶחָד, הִיא שִׁבְעִים לָשׁוֹן עַל מִדָּה קְטַנָּה שֶׁל חָכְמָה קְטַנָּה, שֶׁהִיא י’ עַל מִדָּה קְטַנָּה. עַל חָכְמָה קְטַנָּה שֶׁהִיא י’, עַל מִדָּה קְטַנָּה שֶׁל חָכְמָה ב’, שְׁתֵּי שְׂפָתַיִם שֶׁבָּהֶן דַּעַת וּתְבוּנָה, בָּהֶן נִשְׁלְמוּ שִׁבְעִים וּשְׁתַּיִם. But in the Torah there are seventy faces (also, sides, inners) in one language, which is the Holy Tongue. And this is Yessod, which includes the seven sefirot  of Zeir Anpin, each one included of ten, and they are seventy. The Yod of Yessod is one halakhah, which is small Chokhmah — that is, Malchut — in which there are seventy languages, according to the count of the secret from Yessod. And Yessod is the Holy Tongue, the secret of the chariot with seventy thrones. Concerning them we have learned: Whoever answers Amen, “יְהֵא שְׁמֵיהּ רַבָּא מְבָרַךְ” “May His great Name be blessed,” with all his strength, they tear up his decree of seventy years.
One language, which is Yessod, is seventy languages, on the small measure of small Chokhmah, which is the small Yod. That the Yod of Yessod alludes to it, and the gematria of Yessod (80=70+10) is the secret of seventy languages that shine upon the Yod. Together they are the letters of Yessod.
The Bet (בית, 2)— that is, Moses and Aaron who are over the Sanhedrin as above — they are two lips, that is, Netzach and Hod. And this is from the aspect of the sefirot. And from the aspect of the mochin, in them are Da’at and Tevunah — Moses is the secret of Da’at, and Aaron is the secret of Tevunah. Through them the Sanhedrin is completed to seventy-two, that is, corresponding to the Name of 72 (ע”ב, Ayin-Bet).
Notes:
The Zohar teaches that while the nations have seventy languages of separation, the Torah contains seventy faces within one Holy Tongue. This single language is Yessod, which encompasses the six sefirot of Zeir Anpin (each with ten sub-levels = 70). The small Yod within Yessod represents Malchut, the small Chokhmah containing the seventy faces.
Moses and Aaron, corresponding to Netzach and Hod (the two lips), and to Da’at and Tevunah, complete the Sanhedrin to seventy-two, matching the Name of 72. This reveals the Sanhedrin as a microcosm of the divine structure, channeling the unified Holy Tongue and its seventy faces of Torah interpretation. The teaching emphasizes that true Torah wisdom unifies multiplicity within oneness, in contrast to the fragmented languages of the world.
