Zohar Vayikra
Continued from previous DZ
#446
For when the heavens, which is Zeir Anpin, receives the food from above, from that upper place that rests upon it, which is Arich Anpin, from the secret of the Dikna (beard) that is called Mazla (מזלא), then “וּשְׁחָקִים יִזְּלוּ צֶדֶק” “and the skies shall pour down righteousness” (Isaiah 45:8). What are the “skies” (שְׁחָקִים, shechakim)? It is the place where they grind manna for the righteous. And who are they? They are Netzach and Hod, who certainly grind manna for the righteous. For whom. That is, for that place called Tzaddik, which is Yessod. For they grind that manna which comes from above, from Arich Anpin, and all that good gathers within them to give to that level called Tzaddik, which is Yessod, so that Tzedek (צֶדֶק), which is Malchut, will be blessed from that flowing of theirs. And therefore they grind manna for the righteous. Who are the righteous? They are Tzaddik and Tzedek, who are Yosef and Rachel, which are Yessod and Malchut. And when they unite together, they are called righteous ones.
Notes:
When Zeir Anpin receives sustenance from Arich Anpin through the Mazla of the Dikna, Netzach and Hod grind the manna and channel it to Yessod (Tzaddik). From there Malchut (Tzedek) is blessed. When Yessod and Malchut unite, they are called the righteous.
#447
And these, Netzach and Hod, certainly grind manna for the righteous, who are Tzaddik and Tzedek. And therefore the verse continues “and the skies,” which are Netzach and Hod, “shall pour down righteousness.” Then “תִּפְתַּח אֶרֶץ” “let the earth open” (Isaiah 45:8) below. “וְיִפְרוּ יֶשַׁע” “and let salvation sprout” — that is, the children of the world. “וּצְדָקָה תַצְמִיחַ יַחַד” “and let righteousness spring up together” — that all the mercies and all the good in the world will increase, and the food of people will be found in the world. Then joy will be added upon joy, and all the worlds will be blessed. Rabbi Acha said, If I had come only to hear this, it would be enough.
Notes:
Netzach and Hod pour the flow of righteousness downward. This causes the earth (Malchut) to open, salvation to sprout for the world, and abundant sustenance and blessing to increase in all the worlds.
