Tikkun 39 – 5
“ וַיֹּאמֶר, שִׁמְעוּ-נָא דְבָרָי; אִם-יִהְיֶה, נְבִיאֲכֶם–יְהוָה בַּמַּרְאָה אֵלָיו אֶתְוַדָּע, בַּחֲלוֹם אֲדַבֶּר-בּוֹ.”
“And He said: ‘Hear now My words: if there be a prophet among you, I YHVH do make Myself known unto him in a vision, I do speak with him in a dream”
Here, the Zohar explains that when God said “Let there be Light”, He created the channel of prophecy to Malchut.
The name of God in Malchut is ADNY, with numerical value of 65, is equal to חזן, “Vision” and נבואה, “Prophecy”.
The word for vision is also ‘Mirror’ and it represents a reflection of the spiritual, in Malchut. The great prophets received messages related to the whole nation but everyone can receive messages related to their own life and tikkun process.
Dreams can tell the future because they come from the source and beginning of everything. Our actions create causes in the spiritual level and the effects begin their way down. When we sleep, the soul ascends and ‘reads’ the messages about what will happen. If we are connected with the spiritual system then our soul can ascend to higher levels and the messages received are mostly true. If the soul stays in the lower level then the messages are insignificant or misguiding.
