.Zohar Vayikra
#67
When Nadav and Avihu entered the Holy Tabernacle with the Ketoret (11 incense), the Queen, the Shechina in Malchut was in joy for the expected unification with the King, Zeir Anpin. The King saw that Nadav and Avihu were flawed and the King didn’t want to use them as a channel for the connection with the queen and he left. When the Queen saw that the King left because of them, a fire came immediately and consumed their souls.
Leviticus 10:2
“And fire came out from the presence of YHVH and consumed them, and they died before YHVH.”
#68
Nadav and Avihu were not married and considered flawed. The holiness of the King cannot connect to flawed vessel.
The questions is why unmarried man considered flawed. God created Adam as male and female. That was a perfect and complete state. Later they were separated for the work process required in this world in order to draw the light. Without the male and female connection, which is the aspect of Light and vessel, there’s no continuation in this world.
As non married men, Nadav and Avihu weren’t able to channel the light they wanted to bring down to this world through the holy Tabernacle and the ultimate unification of Zeir Anpin and Malchut.
The fire took their souls but not their bodies to tell us that their action was honored but couldn’t be accepted.
Lesson:
The light is always the same but the vessel determines its abilities to channel it. Only the high priest could go into the holy of holies on Yom Kippur to be able to channel the light to the world. Even then, if the high priest didn’t have a pure soul and a pure consciousness at the time of the connection, he would die.We should always have a proper vessel to draw the necessary light we need for fulfilment. Sometime the flaw if from previous lives so the focus should always be on ‘what do I need to correct’ before complaining ‘why can’t I get my wish’. {||}
