Zohar Shelach Lecha

#229
He told him that this question was asked by two boys who were dressed among us after suffering sorrow for a sin that is not proper to disclose. The head of the Yeshiva answered that it was so in this world, and we know that because it is written;
Esther 5:1
“Now it happened on the third day that Esther got dressed in her royal robes (Malchut מלכות) and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house.”
It means that Esther was dressed in the same form as the upper world because Malchut means the holy spirit, and Malchut refers to the kingdom of heaven, Zeir Anpin, which is called heaven. From it, a spirit came, and Esther was clothed in it.

#230
When Esther entered before King Ahasuerus, and he saw that garment of light, her image seemed to him like an angel of God, and his soul left him for a moment. Mordecai, likewise, wore the clothing of that world, as it is written;
Esther 8:15
“Then Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in a royal robe (מַלְכוּת Malchut) of violet and white, with a large crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple, and the city of Shushan shouted and rejoiced.”
Royal clothing is a form of that world. Therefore it is written “כִּי נָפַל פַּחַד מָרְדֳּכַי עֲלֵיהֶם” “because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them” (Esther 9:3), and not fear of Ahashorosh. That is, not because of Ahasueru’s authority but because the garments Mordechai wore were from the upper world.
Rabbi Shimon said, how sweet are these things, and how blessed is my portion, for I know that righteous people in this world are dressed in garments, which is called “לְבוּשׁ מַלְכוּת” ‘royal clothing,’ and it is undoubtedly so.

Lesson;
Rabbo Shimon knew that “garments” from the heavens could be worn in this world because he himself was dressed with such holy garments.
We are blessed to read Rabbi Shimon’s teachings and glimpse the “Royal clothing.”
