“אַל תִּרְאוּנִי שֶׁאֲנִי שְׁחַרְחֹרֶת שֶׁשֱּׁזָפַתְנִי הַשָּׁמֶשׁ בְּנֵי אִמִּי נִחֲרוּ בִי שָׂמֻנִי נֹטֵרָה אֶת הַכְּרָמִים כַּרְמִי שֶׁלִּי לֹא נָטָרְתִּי”
“Do not gaze at me because I am dark, because the sun has looked upon me. My mother’s sons were angry with me; they made me keeper of the vineyards, but my own vineyard I have not kept!”
‘Do not gaze at me because I am dark’ – The Shechina is small and dark in Malchut but her armies are strong and roar like lions.
“הַכְּפִירִים, שֹׁאֲגִים לַטָּרֶף; וּלְבַקֵּשׁ מֵאֵל, אָכְלָם”
“The young lions roar after their prey And seek their food from God.”
Her lover hears the roars and knows that his love is like hers.
Then her lover comes out from his palace and with gifts, treasures, perfumes and great scents and joy. They meet and he embrace and kiss her until she wakes up from the special scents he brought with him. This meeting brings her beauty back and she receives the the aspect of the letter Hה of the YHVH name.
