Zohar Emor
Continued from previous DZ
#66
The letter ה H of the name completes the upper level and brings completion to the lower levels. One spelled form of the letter ה is הא. The א is constructed from the letters יוד as the spelled form of the letter י Yod that we explained previously. The letter א has י (Yod) above, ו (Vav) in the middle, and ד (Dalet) at the bottom.
The letter י of the name delivers light of Chokmah to the ה that is Israel Saba and Tevuna. For that reason, the letter ה can be spelled as הא and הי. When the ה receives the light of Chokmah, Binah, and Da’at from the supernal Father and Mother it adds the א that represents the light that comes to the vessel of ה and expands it to הא.
#67
Every letter of the יהוה YHVH name includes the light of the entire Holy name. The letter ה consists of the letters יוד as we see images below. The י Yod is the corner, the ו Vav is inside, and the ד Dalet is outside.
The ו Vav of the name is in the middle column that includes the Right column with י at its top and the Left column with ה at its head.
Lesson;
Some new ideas need repeated reading, and if you are new to these ideas, I suggest reading again the paragraph above and the lesson below.
The YHVH name is the ‘seed’ that the Endless Light Blessed be He ‘planted’ in his Creation to complete the process of Creation and govern it. As we began to understand in previous DZ, the ‘seed’ of the name and Creation is the letter י that represents the supernal light from the Endless. It expands itself when delivering the light to the lower levels and formed/revealed the four letters name.
In every level, we can find the root/seed that is the י Yod, and the entire יהוה name. When the light is blocked, it retracts back to the point of origin.
The Holy Ari explains that there are many permutations and forms of the name. The name expands and revealed in different spellings and spelling of the spelling. The letter י always spells the same as יוד but can be further spelled to reveal more light.
Each letter is a vessel for light and each spelled letter of the name we reveal more light.
The lesson is that when we want more light, we need to expand by creating more vessel from ourselves.
The Torah is also an aspect of ‘seed’ that we need to ‘expand’ in order to reveal its light. The Zohar expands the Torah for us to higher levels that most people cannot achieve by themselves. The Zohar always starts from a Torah word, words or verse, etc. and study/expand/spell it to grow and reveal the great light concealed in the Torah. The Daily Zohar expands on the study of the Zohar with the help of Rabbi Ashlag (HaSulam) of blessed memory. Our studies help in revealing the light we find in the Zohar and connect to it.
Moses received the written Torah together with the Oral Torah that is vast and helps us understand the meaning of the Torah codes and the light of the precepts.
To implement the principle of ‘spelling’ for success in our lives, we need to have the ‘seed,’ which is a thought or idea and start expanding on it by creating more vessels, which is the aspect of ‘spelling’ the name. It means that we move forward and add more to the idea/mission we ‘planted’ in our path. By following this process, we can achieve completion and success. If we break the vessels, the light we accumulated retracts and whatever we built is lost.
Studying the Zohar ‘spells’ continuous light in our lives. We keep on the same path without stopping because if we do, we lose the light and left with empty vessels.
A friend that follows the Daily Zohar went through a personal/financial crisis and lost the faith, stopping prayers and studies. The light left his vessel, and the darkness replaced the light that was there before. That was strongly felt in his life because that person has a large vessel built by all his studies. He immediately realizes that the light is a ‘substance’ that fills his being and he went back to his studies and quickly restoring the light that was lost.
Every word of the Torah and Zohar including our prayers has the aspect of ‘seed’ and a letter, waiting to be spelled and reveal its concealed light.
