81. כְּשֶׁעוֹלִים (עוֹלֶה עוֹלִים) בַּעֲלֵי הָרְמָחִים וְהַחֲרָבוֹת, שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם חֶשְׁבּוֹן, סְבִיב אוֹתָם שִׁשִּׁים עֶלְיוֹנִים שֶׁסְּבִיב הַמִּטָּה הַזּוֹ, אֶלֶף אֲלָפִים וְרִבּוֹא רְבָבוֹת עוֹמְדִים בְּכָל צַד שֶׁל הַמִּטָּה הַזּוֹ לְמַעְלָה, וּמִמֶּנָּה נִזּוֹנִים, כֻּלָּם מִלְּפָנֶיהָ (וּמִמֶּנָּה נִזּוֹנִים, כֻּלָּם עוֹבְדִים לָהּ לְפָנֶיהָ) יַעַמְדוּ.
82. מִתַּחַת לְכֻלָּם יוֹצְאִים כַּמָּה אֶלֶף וּרְבָבוֹת שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם חֶשְׁבּוֹן, וְיוֹרְדִים וּמְשׁוֹטְטִים בָּעוֹלָם, עַד שֶׁתּוֹקְעִים בַּעֲלֵי הַשּׁוֹפָר וּמִתְכַּנְּסִים, וְאֵלֶּה אֲחוּזִים בְּזֻהֲמַת הַצִּפָּרְנַיִם.
83. הַמִּטָּה הַזּוֹ כּוֹלֶלֶת אוֹתָם. רַגְלֵי הַמִּטָּה הַזּוֹ אֲחוּזִים בְּאַרְבַּעַת צִדְדֵי הָעוֹלָם, כֻּלָּם נִכְלָלִים בַּכְּלָל שֶׁנִּמְצָא לְמַעְלָה וְנִמְצָא לְמַטָּה, בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל וְעַל הָאָרֶץ מִתָּחַת, וְעַל זֶה כָּתוּב הִנֵּה. מַה זֶּה הִנֵּה? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁמְּזֻמֶּנֶת לְכֻלָּם, לְמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה. וּרְשׁוּמָה הַמִּטָּה הַזּוֹ מֵהַכֹּל, וְנִקְרֵאת אֲדֹנָ”י, הָרִבּוֹן שֶׁל הַכֹּל, רְשׁוּמָה בֵּין חֵילוֹתֶיהָ.

The Snake is the owner of evil speech. He roams the earth and jumps over mountains and skips over hills, looking for prey to catch with his nails. After he eats, he gets calm and his evil tongue turns into a good tongue. It is like a person speaks evil about a person that is all good.
The mountains are an aspect of Binah and the hills are an aspect of Malchut. The Snake wants to get his prey from the highest level. When the Israelites draw the Light from Binah, Malchut gets purified and the Snake gets a share from Light at the edges of the nails of Malchut.
After he gets this light, the Snake returns to his place and enters the hole of the great abyss.
The forces that carry swords and spears represent the judgments in Malchut. They surround the sixty mighty men that surround the bed and by them, the Right and the Left are unified. This unification that reveals the light of Chokmah and Chassadim brings nourishment to all millions of forces that are around the supernal bed.
Underneath the holy levels that were mentioned above come out countless forces from the side of the Klippah. They wander through the world until the Shofar is blown. It’s sound that produces from fire, water, and air, represents the unification of the Right, Left and Center columns. The impure forces that hold to the scum that is under the nails.
“הִנֵּה מִטָּתוֹ שֶׁלִּשְׁלֹמֹה שִׁשִּׁים גִּבֹּרִים סָבִיב לָהּ מִגִּבֹּרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.”
“Behold, it is Solomon’s bed, With sixty mighty warriors around it, Of the mightiest of Israel.”
The bed, which is Malchut, includes all the levels above. The four legs of the bed connect to the four directions of the world and represent Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, and Malchut.
Because the unification of the upper sefirot is made in the bed, Malchut, all the levels above and below benefit from it, and Malchut is called ‘Adonai’ which means ‘Master’ in Hebrew to tell us that Malchut can be the master of all.
Nails grow at the far ‘ends’ of the body that are the hands, and the feet. They have the aspect of Malchut of Malchut and death that happens as they are pushed out of the body. Negative forces can easily get attached to the nails to draw from our energy, especially when there is filth under the nails. Seeing nails in dreams in most cases it means pain.
Nail-biting is very bad in life and in dreams. It connects to negativity and anger. Biting nails in dreams means conflicts and quarrels.
On the other hand, if the nails in the dream look nice and long then it could be a good sign of growth and profits.
During the Havdalah that we do after Shabbat, we look to see the reflection of the candle flame on the nails. We look into the ‘live’ part of the nails to see the connection between the nails and the flesh. Also, because the nails constantly grow, we wish to begin the coming week with signs of growth and success.
Adam was created with a skin tissue that looks like the nails but after the sin, it was removed from him and left only on the tips of hands and feet.
