Rav Hamnuna Sava explains the two nostrils in his book. The Left nostril brings out fire and smoke. The Right one brings out satisfaction and good spirit because it is Chassadim that includes the Light of Chokmah.
“His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.”
Lebanon is another name for the Holy Temple. Zeir Anpin delivers the ‘aroma’ that is the Light of Chokmah of the Holy Temple to the female, Malchut.
“I said, “I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of its branches.” Let now your breasts be like clusters of the vine, The fragrance of your breath like apples,”
“And YHVH smelled a soothing aroma” (Genesis 8:21) reveals the connection to the Right and the Left with ‘soothing’ and ‘aroma’, ‘רֵיחַ הַנִּיחֹחַ’. The Right is the satisfaction and peaceful light of Chassadim and Chokmah that is revealed from the most concealed level of Atika Kadisha. From the Left that raises fire and smoke from the Altar below comes another ‘satisfaction’ that joined in Zeir Anpin with the Light from Atika Kadisha.
Two ears to hear good and bad. Both are considered as one as we read in Isaiah 37:17
“Incline Your ear, O YHVH, and hear; open Your eyes, O YHVH, and see;”
The ear has curves so the sound is restricted from going directly into the ear because everything that comes quickly doesn’t have complete wisdom.
