Zohar Balak

Numbers 22:6
“וְעַתָּה לְכָה נָּא אָרָה לִּי אֶת הָעָם הַזֶּה כִּי עָצוּם הוּא מִמֶּנִּי אוּלַי אוּכַל נַכֶּה בּוֹ וַאֲגָרְשֶׁנּוּ מִן הָאָרֶץ כִּי יָדַעְתִּי אֵת אֲשֶׁר תְּבָרֵךְ מְבֹרָךְ וַאֲשֶׁר תָּאֹר יוּאָר.”
“Therefore please come at once, curse these people for me, for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”

#278
Rabbi Shimon praises his son, Rabbi Elazar, for his discourse on Balak and Balaam. But Balak, he adds, his soul is lost in Gehennam, and Balaam’s soul and bones will be eroded there. They took evil advice to go against the shield of Israel that is ‘כֹּה,’ which is the name of the Shechina. They planned to uproot and remove ‘כֹּה’ by elevating the evil side with words (Balaam) and action (Balak).

#279
Balak knew that the generation of the Tower of Babel tried and could not achieve control. They made the right actions but didn’t have the power of the mouth because Hashem mixed up their language.
Balaam had forced from the side of blessings as we read, “he whom you bless is blessed” and from the side of curse; “he whom you curse is cursed.” Balak believed that with his actions, and Balaam’s curse on Israel, he would achieve his goal.

Lesson;
The power of the mouth is much more than most people can understand or believe. After Jacob ran away from his father-in-law, Laban chased him because Rachel stole his idols, and neither Laban nor Jacob knew who stole them. He told Laban that he who took the idols would die (Genesis 31:32). Rachel was pregnant at that time, and since she carried Benjamin, she didn’t die until she delivered Benjamin that didn’t take part in the theft. This is just one early example from the Torah to tell us about the power of the words coming out of our mouths.
We are not at the level of Jacob or other great tzadikim, but every word we say creates an angel with specific force. As we train our mouth to speak only positive or not negative, we increase our ability to create stronger angels. Great and pure Tzadikim can manifest angels with the power of their thoughts. Nowadays that there is a lot of negative energy in the world, we should be careful with our words.
Train yourself to speak only positive because your life depends on it.
