Daily Zohar 3894
Continued from previous DZ
“Blessed be YHVH out of Zion, Who dwells in Jerusalem! Praise the LORD (YH)!”
Zeir Anpin is also called YHVH, and “Zion” “צִּיּוֹן” is Zeir Anpin that connects to Malchut. He asks why does it say “Blessed be YHVH from Zion?” when “Blessed” “בָּרוּךְ” comes from the supernal river that is Binah.
He explains that when the moon that is Malchut, receives from the Light of the sun that is Zeir Anpin, they are close to each other and they keep the Light together. When it says “Blessed be YHVH”, it is because sometimes Malchut is called in the name of the King that is Zeir Anpin, YHVH, as we read in;
“Then YHVH rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from YHVH out of the heavens.”
The first YHVH is Malchut and the second is Zeir Anpin. In addition, even a messenger, meaning an angel, is also called in the name of the King, YHVH.
Another explanation; “Blessed be YHVH from Zion” means YHVH is blessed from the place that is called Zion that is Yessod of Zeir Anpin as it is written;
“It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there YHVH commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.”
The blessing that is Life comes from Zion, Yessod of Zeir Anpin where “YHVH commanded the blessing— Life forevermore”.
Rabbi Yeisa told him, blessed is your share for having merits to know all this. Blessed are those who study the Torah because everyone who deals with the Torah is as if he holds strongly to the Holy One Blessed be He, as we read in Deuteronomy 4:4
“But you who held fast to YHVH your God are alive today, every one of you.”
Connecting to Yessod with studies and Tzedakah is a connection to blessings.
Friday would be a good day to make a ** Donation, especially if you didn’t donate in the past week. Giving on Friday, which is an aspect of Yessod, expands the vessel for the Light and honor of Shabbat.
** Your donation doesn’t have to be given to the same place every week. You can alternate or split your donation among those who benefit you spiritually.
