Psalm 149:5
“יַעְלְזוּ חֲסִידִים בְּכָבוֹד יְרַנְּנוּ עַל מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָם.”
“Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.”
Rabbi Shimon opened with this verse and said, we learned that the thirteen attributes of Mercy bring blessings to all with their ‘קשר האמונה’ ‘bond of faith’ that is Malchut. It is found in the three lines that reveal the thirteen attributes. Each line has its own four sefirot of Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet(Z”A), and Malchut. Together they are twelve, and with Malchut, there are thirteen. The Torah and the Holy Name are adorned with thirteen attributes as we read in the Braita d’Rabbi Yishmael; ”1) kal vachomer (a fortiori). 2) gezeirah shavah (Identity). 3a) Binyan av vekathuv echad (a general rule implicit in one verse). 3b) binyan av mishnei kethuvim (a general rule derived from two verses)….”

Genesis 49:28
“כָּל אֵלֶּה שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר וְזֹאת אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר לָהֶם אֲבִיהֶם וַיְבָרֶךְ אוֹתָם אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר כְּבִרְכָתוֹ בֵּרַךְ אֹתָם.”
“All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this (זֹאת) is what their father spoke to them. And he blessed them; he blessed each one according to his own blessing.”
When Jacob came to bless his children, he connected to the Shechina in Malchut, using the word ‘זֹאת’ ‘This,’ which is a reference to the Shechina in Malchut.
“He blessed each one according to his own blessing” means that the blessings of each of the tribes were linked to one of the thirteen attributes, and the Shechinah was the thirteenth.
