Hebrew translation:

161. סוֹד הַסֵּתֶר הַזֶּה שְׁתֵּי אֲחָיוֹת. וּכְשֶׁהֵרִיחַ זוֹ אֶת זוֹ בַּבְּדִיקָה שֶׁלָּהּ, צָבְתָה בִטְנָהּ וְנָפְלָה יְרֵכָהּ. שֶׁהֲרֵי בְּדִיקַת אֵשֶׁת חַיִל הוּא סַם הַמָּוֶת לְאֵשֶׁת זְנוּנִים. וְזוֹהִי הָעֵצָה שֶׁנָּתַן הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְבָנָיו לְהַקְרִיב קָרְבָּן זֶה בִּשְׁבִיל אֵשֶׁת חַיִל, שֶׁתִּבְרַח מִמֶּנָּה אֵשֶׁת זְנוּנִים, וְנִשְׁאָרִים יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּלִי עִרְבּוּבְיָא אַחֶרֶת. אַשְׁרֵיהֶם בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה וּבָעוֹלָם הַבָּא. (ע”כ רעיא מהימנא).
162. רַבִּי אַבָּא וְרַבִּי חִיָּיא הָיוּ הוֹלְכִים בַּדֶּרֶךְ. אָמַר רַבִּי חִיָּיא, כָּתוּב וּסְפַרְתֶּם לָכֶם מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת מִיּוֹם הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת עֹמֶר הַתְּנוּפָה. מַה זֶּה אוֹמֵר? אָמַר לוֹ, הֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהָ הַחֲבֵרִים. אֲבָל בֹּא רְאֵה, כְּשֶׁהָיוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּמִצְרַיִם, הָיוּ בְּרָשׁוּת אַחֶרֶת, וְהָיוּ אוֹחֲזִים בַּטֻּמְאָה כְּאִשָּׁה הַזּוֹ כְּשֶׁהִיא יוֹשֶׁבֶת בִּימֵי טֻמְאָתָהּ. אַחַר שֶׁנִּמּוֹלוּ, נִכְנְסוּ בַּחֵלֶק הַקָּדוֹשׁ, שֶׁנִּקְרָא בְּרִית. כֵּיוָן שֶׁנֶּאֶחְזוּ בוֹ, פָּסְקָה מֵהֶם הַטֻּמְאָה, כְּאִשָּׁה הַזּוֹ שֶׁפּוֹסְקִים מִמֶּנָּה דְּמֵי טֻמְאָתָהּ. אַחַר שֶׁפָּסְקוּ מִמֶּנָּה, מַה כָּתוּב? (ויקרא טו) וְסָפְרָה לָּהּ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים. אַף כָּאן, כֵּיוָן שֶׁנִּכְנְסוּ בַּחֵלֶק הַקָּדוֹשׁ, פָּסְקָה מֵהֶם טֻמְאָה, וְאָמַר הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא: מִכָּאן וָהָלְאָה חֶשְׁבּוֹן לְטָהֳרָה.

The secret of the above is about two sisters, one is a promiscuous woman, and the other is a woman of valor. The priest tests the faithfulness of a woman with special water. If the promiscuous woman smells the mouth of the faithful woman, she will experience “her belly will swell, her thigh will rot, and the woman will become a curse among her people,” as described in the verse above. Even though she was not tested herself, just by coming close to the woman of valor, the curses would be upon her as if she drank the water from the priest’s hands in the aspect of the barley offering. The test of the pure woman is a deadly poison for the promiscuous woman. The instruction of Hashem to bring barley meal-offering before the test to cause the promiscuous woman to run away and keep Israel on the pure side. Because Hashem guides Israel, they are blessed in this world and in the world to come.

Leviticus 23:16
“וּסְפַרְתֶּם לָכֶם מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת מִיּוֹם הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת עֹמֶר הַתְּנוּפָה שֶׁבַע שַׁבָּתוֹת תְּמִימֹת תִּהְיֶינָה.”
“‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf(Omer, עֹמֶר) of the wave(Lift up) offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed.”
Rabbi Aba and Rabbi Chiyah were walking on the road and discussing the meaning of the above verse. He explains that Israel in Egypt was under the other side’s control and in a state of impurity as a woman during her impure period. After Israel was circumcised, they entered the holy state of the covenant.
It is similar to the impure state of a woman. After the cause of impurity stops, she counts seven pure days before reuniting with her husband.
Leviticus 15:28
“וְאִם טָהֲרָה מִזּוֹבָהּ וְסָפְרָה לָּהּ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים וְאַחַר תִּטְהָר.”
“But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days, and after that, she shall be clean.”
The counting of the Omer is done for seven weeks before Malchut joins her husband, Zeir Anpin.
