Daily Zohar # 3968 – Naso – Better than a prophet
Daily Zohar 3968

In the instructions to bless the people, it is commanded “אָמוֹר לָהֶם,” Say to them.” Because of the increase in people’s transgressions, they were not asked to publicize the name ‘כה.’ That is why ‘say to them’ is in a singular form ‘אָמוֹר,’ not in plural’ תֹּאמְרוּ.’
Rabbi Yehuda brings another explanation, ‘say to them,’ which means that Israel receives the blessings if they have the merits, and it is just a simple “Say” if they have no merits.

Daniel 10:7
“And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great terror fell upon them so that they fled to hide themselves.”
Daniel was not a prophet, but he could see what the prophets Chagai, Zechariah, and Malachi that were there could not see. Why did they have a fear that made them run away and make the holy unholy?
Daniel did not have fear, and from non-holy, he made holy. This tells us that he, who is not a prophet, is holier than a prophet.
Lesson;
The Talmud says “A Sage (wise, חכם, Chokmah) is greater than a prophet”.
A prophet receives messages from the level of Hod, but a wise one connects to the level of Chokmah, which is higher than Hod.
The Talmud also tells us that an illegitimate child (Mamzer) who is a Torah scholar precedes a High Priest who is an ignoramus, as Torah wisdom surpasses all else.
Our studies of the Torah, primarily through the deep study of the Zohar, elevate us to the level of Chokmah and reveal Lights that benefit the entire world. When we study, we are higher than a high priest that does not study.
