Zohar beresheet-b
Continued from previous DZ
#17
And he travels from this hall and enters the fourth hall. That is, after he has completed all the lights that are in the third hall, he can enter the hall of Tiferet. And there are all those who mourn Zion and Jerusalem, together with all those who were killed by other nations, idolaters. “Other nations” means all the other nations besides the people of Israel. For those who were killed by other nations have great holiness in them, until their souls rise as Mayin Nukvin(מ” ן) and draw the supernal lights that are in this hall, and they merit them. And those who mourn Zion and Jerusalem are also joined with them. Mashiach, who sees those who mourn Zion and Jerusalem and those killed by the nations, begins to weep. And then all those princes (הנשיאים) from the seed of David take hold of him and comfort him.
Notes:
After the third hall is complete, Mashiach enters the hall of Tiferet. There are those who mourn Zion and Jerusalem, and those killed by other nations, whose souls rise as Mayin Nukvin and draw the high lights of this hall. When Mashiach weeps, the princes of the seed of David hold him and comfort him.
#18
Mashiach returns and weeps a second time, until a voice goes out and is united with the voice of Mashiach, and his voice rises above. The meaning: for the voice of the weeping of Mashiach, son of Joseph, is the voice of Malchut that is below the chest, as above. Therefore the judgments have a hold in his voice, and it is not fit to rise as Mayin Nukvin until the voice of Binah descends from above and unites with the voice of Mashiach. Then the voice of Mashiach rises above in the secret of the union of Voice and Speech. And he remains there until the New Moon. That is, he rises and is included in the union of Voice and Speech, which are Zeir Anpin and his Nukva in the hall of Binah, and he remains there in the secret of Mayin Nukvin until the Mochin of the head are drawn there to the Nukva. And the Nukva is corrected by this, and she is called the New Moon. And when he descends from Binah, several lights and kinds of radiance descend with him, which shine to all these halls, and healing and light to all those killed by the nations of the world, and to those with illnesses and pains who suffer with Mashiach, to draw the redemption.
Notes:
The second weeping is the voice of Mashiach son of Joseph, Malchut below the chest, which still has a hold of judgment. It rises only when the voice of Binah unites with it, as Voice and Speech. He remains there until the Nukva is corrected and called the New Moon. When he descends, lights, healing, and radiance come with him to the halls and to those who suffer with him for the redemption.
