Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -1067
Hebrew translation:

Tikkun 10 – 2

The negative aspect of the Ox brings out 24 levels of negativity. I comes to hurt (correct) us using the aspects of the horns, teeth, body and feet.
The donkey brings the aspect of hardship of the tikkun process.
Zechariah 9:9
“ גִּילִי מְאֹד בַּת-צִיּוֹן, הָרִיעִי בַּת יְרוּשָׁלִַם, הִנֵּה מַלְכֵּךְ יָבוֹא לָךְ, צַדִּיק וְנוֹשָׁע הוּא; עָנִי וְרֹכֵב עַל-חֲמוֹר, וְעַל-עַיִר בֶּן-אֲתֹנוֹת. ”
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion, shout, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, thy king cometh unto thee, he is triumphant, and victorious, lowly, and riding upon a donkey, even upon a colt the foal of a donkey. ”
The righteous are the ones that controlled and completed their Tikkun that is the aspect of the negative side of the donkey.
The word for donkey is חמור with same letters as חומר that means ‘matter’. Overcoming the desire for the materials of this world allow us to connect to the light that is above matter.
The Mashiach is considered a king because he reins and controls all negativity and is above all matter. When he comes there will be no need to work on the material level to have sustenance and produce food. All will be abundantly available to everyone.

The word for King in Hebrew is מלך

ל – for the heart (לב) – Ruach – spiritual connections
כ – for the Liver (כבד) – Nefesh – physical actions

When we control the negativity on the three levels we become righteous and considered ‘Kings’ in this world and the world to come.
