Pinchas 653-655

Pinchas 653-655

Isaiah 54:7
” בְּרֶגַע קָטֹן, עֲזַבְתִּיךְ; וּבְרַחֲמִים גְּדֹלִים, אֲקַבְּצֵךְ”
” For a brief moment I deserted you, but with great compassion I will gather you.”

In the Final Redemption the Creator’s compassion will be revealed in the world and all the Klipot that surrounds the Shichina in Malchut will break.
One stone is from the three stones of the Segolta Cantilation

Segolta

Segolta is one of the Torah Cantillations that are used by the reader to chant the Torah verses.
י – Teamin (Cantillations), Chokmah, Atziltut (Emanation)
ה – Nekudot (Vowels), Binah, B’reah (Creation)
ו – Tagim (Tags on the top of the letters), Zeir Anpin, Yetzirah (Formation)
ה – Otiyot (Letters), Malchut, Asiah (Action)

Each dot (stone) has the numerical value of 10 like the letter י Yod.

Ezekiel 1:1
” In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by the Chebar canal, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.”

The Zohar reveals that the thirtieth year is the aspect of the three Yods ייי of the Segolta. The ‘fourth’ month is the aspect of Netzach, the fourth Sefirah and a fourth stone. The ‘fifth’ day is a fifth stone and Hod.

1 Samuel 17:40
“Then he took his staff in his hand and chose five smooth stones from the brook and put them in his shepherd’s pouch. His sling was in his hand, and he approached the Philistine”

David (before he was king) chose five stones but used only one to kill Goliath. David knew the spiritual process and he connected to the five Sefirot of Chessed to Hod through Yessod that is the aspect of the brook in the verse above.

The Zohar explains that the five are against the first five words of the Shema prayer that connect Malchut to the upper levels.

Goliath was ‘upset’ because the Israelites ‘sent’ a kids to fight him. He cursed and promised to give his flesh to the beasts of the field. David didn’t show any fear and replied;
” Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of YHVH of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”
” This day YHVH will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,”
” and that all this assembly may know that YHVH saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is YHVH’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

Then David ‘sent’ ‘ וַיִּשְׁלַח ‘ his hand and took a stones and slung it in Goliath forehead. Read 1 Samuel 17:49 and Genesis 22:10 to find similar action of ‘sending’ ‘ וַיִּשְׁלַח’ the hand to follow and be a channel for God’s wish.

We all know this story but when we read it with what the Zohar reveals to us here we see that it is not about a crazy young shepherd that was great in using his sling but he was well connected to the spiritual system and knew that with certainty in the Light he could win the enemies of God.

King David saved the Israelites from their worst enemy with his trust in YHVH. From his line the Mashiach will come to save us all. The battle against the negative side is hard. Our physical and financial strength is cannot help us from cancer, accidents of economic calamity. Our only protection against the negative forces of this world is our certainty with the Light and the use of the Zohar.
