Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -1459
Hebrew translation:

10. וּבַסְּפָרִים הַקַּדְמוֹנִים, הֶעָנִי לֹא נוֹתֵן חֵלֶק לְהָזִין אֶלָּא לְהִתְקַשֵּׁר לְמַעְלָה, אֲבָל הַכֹּל – לְמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה – כָּל אֶחָד נִקְשָׁר לְצִדּוֹ כָּרָאוּי, וַהֲרֵי בֵּאַרְנוּ.
11. רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר שָׁאַל אֶת רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אָבִיו וְאָמַר, הֲרֵי הַקֶּשֶׁר שֶׁל הַכֹּל נִקְשָׁר בְּקֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים כְּדֵי לְהָאִיר, הִדָּבְקוּת שֶׁל הָרָצוֹן שֶׁל כֹּהֲנִים לְוִיִּם וְיִשְׂרְאֵלִים לְמַעְלָה, עַד הֵיכָן הִיא עוֹלָה?
12. אָמַר לוֹ, הֲרֵי בֵּאַרְנוּ, עַד אֵין סוֹף. שֶׁכָּל קֶשֶׁר וְיִחוּד וּשְׁלֵמוּת, לְהַצְנִיעַ בְּאוֹתָהּ צִנְעָה שֶׁאֵינָהּ מֻשֶּׂגֶת וְלֹא נוֹדַעַת שֶׁבָּהּ רְצוֹן כָּל הָרְצוֹנוֹת. אֵין סוֹף אֵינוֹ עוֹמֵד לְהִוָּדַע, וְלֹא לַעֲשׂוֹת סוֹף, וְלֹא לַעֲשׂוֹת רֹאשׁ שֶׁל אַיִן (רֹאשׁ כְּמוֹ שֶׁאַיִן). הָרִאשׁוֹן הוֹצִיא רֹאשׁ וָסוֹף, מִי הָרֹאשׁ? זוֹ הַנְּקֻדָּה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, שֶׁהִיא רֹאשׁ שֶׁל הַכֹּל הַנִּסְתָּר שֶׁעוֹמֶדֶת בְּתוֹךְ הַמַּחֲשָׁבָה. וְעוֹשָׂה סוֹף, שֶׁנִּקְרָא סוֹף דָּבָר, אֲבָל לְשָׁם אֵין סוֹף.
13. אֵין רְצוֹנוֹת וְאֵין אוֹרוֹת וְאֵין נֵרוֹת בְּאוֹתוֹ אֵין סוֹף. כָּל הָאוֹרוֹת וְהַמְּאוֹרוֹת הַלָּלוּ תְּלוּיִים לְהִתְקַיֵּם בָּהֶם, וְלֹא עוֹמְדִים לְהַשָּׂגָה, מִי שֶׁיּוֹדֵעַ וְלֹא יוֹדֵעַ, אֵינוֹ אֶלָּא רָצוֹן עֶלְיוֹן נִסְתָּר שֶׁל כָּל הַנִּסְתָּריִם, אַיִן.


Zohar Tzav

The words that the Zohar uses for ‘Idol worship’ is ‘עבודה זרה’ that literally translates to ‘foreign work’. Previously we learned that ‘idol worshiping’ is a connection everything that is not the Light. When it is not from the Light of God then it is considered ‘foreign’ for us.

The word for ‘foreign’ is זרה. זר + ה . זר is numerically 207 that is equal to אור, ‘Light’ . The ה is the aspect of H ה of Malchut and it tells us that the other side swallows the Light in Malchut. Since they don’t have the tools to draw light they grab it from us.

Satisfying the body consciousness without directing it to the Light is idol worship. The outcome of the Tikkun Olam (Global correction) is the removal of the other side and negativity from the world.

Zecharia 13:2
“וְאֶת-רוּחַ הַטֻּמְאָה, אַעֲבִיר מִן-הָאָרֶץ”
“and the impure spirit I will pass out of the land.”
The process of this world is to bring us to the nullification of the ego and the desire for the self so we can pass away with a pure soul that doesn’t have links of slavery to this world.

In our temporary life we need to work for the soul and make the body work for us. As we grow old we begin to realize that the body will soon be gone and we look for something to hang on to life. We turn to immortality by connecting to the immortal power that we know, which is God.
On the tomb stone of the Jew we write the initials ת.נ.צ.ב.ה. , which stand for “may his soul be included in the living”. ‘The living’ are those who will be resurrected in the Final Redemption process.

The body is laid down to rest, meaning giving back the material part of the person back to nature. At that state the Soul is free and its only desire is to be resurrected and enjoy the complete revelation of light in the world.

As I said many times before, having money is a great thing if the owner of it has the knowledge and consciousness that his wealth came from God, giving him the ability to do more for others. If he thinks otherwise then he is an idol worshiper and his soul cannot merit the resurrection and final redemption. If he keeps all the energy for himself then he is an idol worshiper.

The word זרה, ‘foreign’ , ‘other’ also has the same letters as זהר, ‘Zohar’. Rabbi Shimon prepared the Zohar as a tool for us to break the other side and focus on the Light. It is the only way to stay on the path of Life and merit the resurrection and immortality.
