From the ‘white’ skull of Arich Anpin, a dew drips to the skull of Zeir Anpin. This dew is white for the aspect of Chassadim but also a shade of red to imply that this light has in it the Light of Chokmah that is red and looks like the Manna.
The Manna of Zeir Anpin nourishes the holy apple field that is Malchut. From the dew of the skull, they make Manna for the Tzadikim of the world to come, also this Manna would be used to resurrect the dead.
When the Israelites wandered in the desert they were nourished from the dew of Arich Anpin.
“וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל מֹשֶׁה הִנְנִי מַמְטִיר לָכֶם לֶחֶם מִן הַשָּׁמָיִם וְיָצָא הָעָם וְלָקְטוּ דְּבַר יוֹם בְּיוֹמוֹ לְמַעַן אֲנַסֶּנּוּ הֲיֵלֵךְ בְּתוֹרָתִי אִם לֹא.”
“Then YHVH said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.”
After the Manna stopped coming down, the sustenance of the people depended on ‘Mazala’ (literally means ‘Luck’) which is the Light that emanates from the beard of Arich Anpin. The skull of Arich Anpin is all mercy, and Mazala has the aspect of Judgment. For that reason, children, length of life, and sustenance don’t depend on merits but on Mazala.
Ninety million worlds depend on the Light that comes from the skull. The pure air of the Father is included in all levels of Zeir Anpin. Because of that, his face extended to the Right and the Left, Chassadim, and Chokmah.
When the face of Z”A looks at the face of Atika Kadisha, it is called ‘ארך אפיים’ ‘slow to anger’, that is one of the thirteen attributes of the Holy King.
The skull is the aspect of connection to the Malchut of the level above that is always holier than the level below it.
The ‘dew’ is the Light from Zeir Anpin of the level above. It comes down as drops because the world is still in the process of correction. When it is fully corrected, the Light would flow from the skull of Zeir Anpin, and death would be swallowed forever.
‘Dew’, ‘טל’ has the numerical value of 39, the same as the holy name of Zeir Anpin יוד-הא-ואו-הא.
Mazala or ‘Luck’ is above the process and on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we ‘restart’ the year of a spiritual level and we are able to pray for change in the aspects of Children, length of life, and sustenance.
‘Beginners luck’ has the aspect of the beginning and a connection to Keter. On our birthdays we can pray for such change. After Shabbat, we start a new week and we can pray for sustenance. Read Elijah opened first. Check the prayer books for text.
The second meal of Shabbat is called the meal of Atika Kadisha. The prayer of Shabbat morning elevates Zeir Anpin to Father and Mother and in that state, Malchut and Zeir Anpin can draw Light from Atika Kadisha. The third meal of Shabbat is even higher because Zeir Anpin can connect directly to Atika Kadisha.
