Hebrew translation:

103. מַה בֵּין זֶה לָזֶה? אֶלָּא, סֵפֶר עֶלְיוֹן הוּא תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהִיא סְתוּמָה וְלֹא עוֹמֶדֶת, אֶלָּא רַק בִּכְתָב, שֶׁשָּׁם הוּא הַמָּקוֹם לְהִתְגַּלּוֹת לְמַטָּה. וּמִי הוּא הָעוֹלָם הַבָּא? סֵפֶר הַתַּחְתּוֹן, זוֹ תּוֹרָה שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה. וּמִי הוּא עַל פֶּה? אֵלּוּ הַמֶּרְכָּבוֹת שֶׁל מַטָּה, שֶׁהִיא עוֹמֶדֶת עֲלֵיהֶן. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁאֵינָן בִּכְלָל שֶׁל כְּתִיבָה שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, נִקְרָאִים עַל פֶּה.
104. וְתוֹרָה זוֹ עוֹמֶדֶת עַל פֶּה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁכָּתוּב (בראשית ב) וּמִשָּׁם יִפָּרֵד וְהָיָה לְאַרְבָּעָה רָאשִׁים. וְתוֹרָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, אַף עַל גַּב שֶׁהִיא עוֹמֶדֶת לְמַעְלָה, לֹא נִקְרֵאת עַל הַכְּתָב, אֶלָּא שֶׁבִּכְתָב, שֶׁעוֹמֶדֶת בִּכְתָב, וְאוֹתוֹ הַכְּתָב נַעֲשֶׂה הֵיכָל אֵלֶיהָ, וְהִיא עוֹמֶדֶת בְּתוֹךְ אוֹתוֹ הַהֵיכָל וְנִשְׁמֶרֶת שָׁם. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ נִקְרֵאת תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב וְלֹא עַל כְּתָב.
105. אֲבָל הַתּוֹרָה שֶׁלְּמַטָּה הִיא עוֹמֶדֶת עַל מַרְכְּבוֹתֶיהָ, וְנִקְרֵאת עַל פֶּה, שֶׁעוֹמֶדֶת עֲלֵיהֶן. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁלֹּא נֶחְשֶׁבֶת (נִתְּנָה) מִבִּפְנִים מִכְּלָל שֶׁל כְּתִיבָה, לֹא נַעֲשׂוּ הֵיכָל לַנְּקֻדָּה הַזּוֹ כְּמוֹ אוֹתָהּ נְקֻדָּה עֶלְיוֹנָה. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁעוֹמֶדֶת עֲלֵיהֶן נִקְרֵאת תְּרוּמָה.

The Zohar asks what is the difference between the supernal and the lower book, and answers that the supernal book is the Torah in the writing that is supernal Chokmah (Wisdom). It is concealed and must be in a written form so it can be studied and revealed.
Its place is Israel Sava and Tevuna that is the world to come. It supports the revelation of Chokmah (Wisdom) in Malchut.
The lower book is the Oral Torah that comes to Malchut from the world of B’riah (Creation). It is called ‘Oral’ because it is not concealed as the Chokmah in Israel Sava and Tevuna. Through the seven palaces of the world of B’riah, wisdom is revealed in Malchut.

The seven palaces are in the world of separation that begins in Malchut of Atzilut. They represent the ‘mouth’ that reveals the wisdom.
Genesis 2:10
“וְנָהָרּ יֹצֵא מֵעֵדֶן לְהַשְׁקוֹת אֶת הַגָּן וּמִשָּׁם יִפָּרֵד וְהָיָה לְאַרְבָּעָה רָאשִׁים.”
“Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four river heads.”
The supernal Torah is called the ‘Torah in the writing’ ‘תורה שבכתב’ and not a simple ‘written Torah’ ‘תורה שעל הכתב’ to indicate that the Torah is concealed in the written words.
For that reason, the words of the Torah are considered as vessels for the Oral Torah that is the beginning of the revelation of what’s concealed in the Torah.

The Torah below stands on top of her chariots. The Oral Torah is not part of the written Torah because writing means concealment until someone comes to read the words and reveal the writings. The wisdom is revealed in the palaces. Since Malchut stands upon them, Malchut is called ‘תרומה’ ‘Terumah’, meaning ‘offering’.

Lesson;
The wisdom of the Torah is Chokmah from above is revealed in Malchut when we read and study it. Many people have a nice set of Zohar at home. When we read from it, we reveal the concealed Light from its words.
