Zohar Achare Mot

#88
The flow of the Holy anointing oil drawn to the two pillars, Netzach and Hod that are called ‘studies of Hashem’, also, ‘צבאות’ ‘Tzevaot’ (Literally means ‘armies’). It gathers in Yessod and from there comes to Malchut which is called ‘small Chokmah’ because it doesn’t include the six sefirot of Chokmah. This state is called ‘The tongue of the learned’. This light awakens the holy righteous as it is written (Isaiah 50:4) “YHVH GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned”, and it came down for the righteous for the purpose (Isaiah 50:4) “That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary”.
The Holy One Blessed be He gave from the light that is called ‘Holy anointing oil’ to Rabbi Shimon, the ‘Holy Candle’. He was elevated to higher levels and his words are in a revealed form and not concealed. It is written about him (Numbers 12:8) “פֶּה אֶל פֶּה אֲדַבֶּר בּוֹ וּמַרְאֶה וְלֹא בְחִידֹת וּתְמֻנַת יְהוָה יַבִּיט וּמַדּוּעַ לֹא יְרֵאתֶם לְדַבֵּר בְּעַבְדִּי בְמֹשֶׁה.”
“I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of YHVH. Why were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?”

“And YHVH gave Solomon wisdom, as He promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and they two made a league together.”
He says that during the days of King Solomon, the moon, meaning Malchut, was holding a state of fullness and was called Chokmah (Wisdom). God gave the wisdom to Solomon “as He promised him”
2 Chronicles 1:12
“wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like.”

Lesson;
Rabbi Shimon dedicated his life to the study of the Torah. He nullified his ‘earthly’ existence and reached levels that enabled him to control heaven and earth.

King Solomon became a king after his father passed away, he went to the Holy Tabernacle and brought thousand burnt offerings to God. At the same night, God (אלהים, ELHYM) revealed himself to him in a dream and offered to grant his wishes.
2 Chronicles 1:7
“That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”
2 Chronicles 1:10
“Now grant me wisdom and knowledge so that I may lead these people, for who can judge these great people of yours?”
King Solomon didn’t ask for wealth. He asked God to open his eyes to wisdom, to see the truth in the people. Hashem responded;
2 Chronicles 1:11
“God answered Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked for possessions, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, and have not even asked for long life, but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself that you may govern my people over whom I have made you king,”
“wisdom and knowledge have been granted to you. And I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings who were before you have possessed nor those who will come after you.”

If we seek wisdom with purity, we may merit abundance in the material world. It all depends on the type of channels of light that we opened in our lives.
