Zohar Balak

#416
He opened and said,
Psalm 8:5
“מָה אֱנוֹשׁ כִּי תִזְכְּרֶנּוּ וּבֶן אָדָם כִּי תִפְקְדֶנּוּ.”
“What is the man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?”
It was explained that these words were said by the angels who were appointed over the world.
When the will of the Holy One Blessed be He arose to create man, he called the sects of the ministering angels and seated them before him. He said to them, “I want to create a man,” they said before him,
Psalm 49:13
“וְאָדָם בִּיקָר בַּל יָלִין נִמְשַׁל כַּבְּהֵמוֹת נִדְמוּ.”
“Nevertheless, man, though in honor, does not remain; He is like the beasts that perish.”
God stretched out his finger and burned them. He seated other sects before him; he said to them, I want to create a man. They said before him, “What is the man that You are mindful of?” “What is the nature of this man?” He said to them, I want to create a man who will be in our image, and his wisdom will be higher than your wisdom.

#417
Since he created man, man sinned and was forgiven by the Holy One Blessed be He. Uza and Azael came and said before him, we have something to say to you, after all the man you created committed a sin before you. He told them if you were with them, you would have done worse. The Holy One Blessed be He, knock them down from their holy level in heaven.

Lesson;
The first group of angels quoted a verse from Psalms, and Hashem burned them because they used a degrading reference to the man he created. The second group was not harmed because they just asked about the nature of man that Hashem wanted to create.
We may ask, how could the first group of angels use a verse from Psalm when King David was not in the world? The answer is that everything is created and exists in a state of energy force on the spiritual levels. Manifestations go through the process of time that exists only in this world.
Uza and Azael came after the sin of Adam and Eve and criticized Hashem for making a man that sinned and was let go without terminating its existence. For that reason, Hashem cast them down away from the heavens and kept them in chains in a state of darkness so they won’t be able to see the future.

Rabbi Raphael Emanuel Chai Riki (1688-1743), in his amazon commentary on every verse in Psalms, “Chaze Tzion” “חזה ציון” explains that the verse (Psalm 49:13) starts in a singular form, saying “man”, referring to Adam, then say “beasts” in a plural form to tell that Adam was born with two sides. Eve was attached to Adam’s back.
