Leviticus 8:2
“Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, a bull as the sin offering, two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;.”
Rabbi Chiya refers to the anointing oil and quote Psalm 36:10
“For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.”
He said, “For with You is the fountain of life” is the supreme oil that continues flowing and never ceases. It is from the supreme level of Chokmah. “In Your light” is your people who bond with you with love that is above everything and are never separated from you. Binah is called the “fountain of life” because Chokmah and Binah are in unification that never ceases. Binah is called “the fountain of life” because she is the source and the fountain of Life that is the effect of Chokmah, called life. It is for the sake of Zeir Anpin that lights the candles of Malchut. He is called the Tree of Life because his roots are in the source of Life, Binah.

Lesson;
The ‘candles’ in Malchut are us. When we connect to the Tree of Life, the life force is pulled from the roots of Binah (Mother), which is received from Chokmah (Father) to keep our ‘flame’ alive and shining bright.
Proverbs 3:18
“The Torah is the Tree of Life for those who cling to her, and her supporters are blessed.”
This and all pure Torah studies ‘activate’ Zeir Anpin to draw Light from the roots of Life in Binah.

“In Your light, we see light” refers to the Light that was concealed for the Tzadikim to have in the future. It is written;
Genesis 1:4
“And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.”
The good light from the first day of Creation would be added in the future to the three soul levels, Nefesh, Ruach, and Neshama of the Tzadikim. Using these lights, they would shine in the world to come.

Another explanation, “For with You is the fountain of life,” is the Holy One, Blessed be He, the supreme Tree, Zeir Anpin in the middle of the Garden, which is Malchut. It includes the Right and the Left because it holds to the source of Life, Binah, and adorns Malchut with supreme crowns surrounding the Garden. Malchut dresses and surrounds Zeir Anpin, that receives the Mochin from the upper three sefirot, the secret of the crowns from Binah. It is like a mother placing a crown on her son, as it is written.
Songs 3:11
“Go out, you daughters of Zion, And look at King Solomon with the crown With which his mother has crowned him On the day of his wedding, And on the day of the joy of his heart.”
