145. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה פָּתַח וְאָמַר, (תהלים יח) וַיַּרְעֵם בַּשָּׁמַיִם ה’ וְעֶלְיוֹן יִתֵּן קוֹלוֹ בָּרָד וְגַחֲלֵי אֵשׁ. בֹּא רְאֵה, כְּשֶׁבָּרָא הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת הָעוֹלָם, הִתְקִין לוֹ שִׁבְעָה עַמּוּדִים עַל מַה שֶּׁעוֹמֵד, וְכָל הָעַמּוּדִים עוֹמְדִים בְּעַמּוּד אֶחָד יְחִידִי, וַהֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהָ שֶׁכָּתוּב (משלי ט) חָכְמוֹת בָּנְתָה בֵיתָהּ חָצְבָה עַמּוּדֶיהָ שִׁבְעָה, וְכָל אֵלֶּה הֵם עוֹמְדִים בְּדַרְגָּה אַחַת מֵהֶם שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת (שם י) צַדִּיק יְסוֹד עוֹלָם.
146. וּכְשֶׁנִּבְרָא הָעוֹלָם, נִבְרָא מֵאוֹתוֹ הַמָּקוֹם שֶׁהוּא הַשְּׁלֵמוּת שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם וְתִקּוּנוֹ, שֶׁהוּא נְקֻדָּה אַחַת שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם וְהָאֶמְצַע שֶׁל הַכֹּל, וּמִי הוּא? צִיּוֹן, שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים נ) מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף אֶל אֱלֹהִים ה’ דִּבֶּר וַיִּקְרָא אָרֶץ מִמִּזְרַח שֶׁמֶשׁ עַד מְבֹאוֹ. וּמֵאֵיזֶה מָקוֹם? מִצִּיּוֹן, שֶׁכָּתוּב מִצִּיּוֹן מִכְלַל יֹפִי אֱלֹהִים הוֹפִיעַ. מֵאוֹתוֹ הַמָּקוֹם שֶׁהוּא צַד הַשְּׁלֵמוּת שֶׁל הָאֱמוּנָה הַשְּׁלֵמָה כָּרָאוּי [וְכָעֵת יִשְׂרָאֵל הֶחֱזִיקוּ בוֹ בְּסוֹדוֹת הַמִּצְווֹת שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁכָּל יוֹם וָיוֹם מַחֲזִיק אָדָם בַּצִּיצִית שֶׁמִּתְעַטֵּף בָּהּ], וְצִיּוֹן הַחֹזֶק וְהַנְּקֻדָּה שֶׁל כָּל הָעוֹלָם, וּמֵהַמָּקוֹם הַהוּא נִתְקַן כָּל הָעוֹלָם וְנַעֲשָׂה, וּמִתּוֹכוֹ נִזּוֹן כָּל הָעוֹלָם.

Psalm 18:14
“וַיַּרְעֵם בַּשָּׁמַיִם יְהוָה וְעֶלְיוֹן יִתֵּן קֹלוֹ בָּרָד וְגַחֲלֵי אֵשׁ.”
“YHVH thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.”
Rabbi Yehuda said when the Holy One, Blessed be He, created the world, that is when He emanated the Nukva called ‘עולם’ ‘world,’ He established for it seven pillars, illuminated by the seven Sefirot Chesed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malchut of Zeir Anpin. All these pillars stand upon one unique pillar, which is the Yessod of Zeir Anpin. This is explained in what is written;
Proverbs 9:1
“חָכְמוֹת בָּנְתָה בֵיתָהּ חָצְבָה עַמּוּדֶיהָ שִׁבְעָה.”
“Wisdom has built her house; She has hewn out her seven pillars;”
All these stand upon one level called ‘Tzaddik, the foundation of the world,’ which is Yessod of Zeir Anpin.

When the world was created, it was made from that place, which encompasses the world and its rectifications. It is one point in the world and is the center of everything. It is called Zion, which is the inner Yessod of the Nukva, as it is written;
Psalm 50:1
“מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף אֵל אֱ‍לֹהִים יְהוָה דִּבֶּר וַיִּקְרָא אָרֶץ מִמִּזְרַח שֶׁמֶשׁ עַד מְבֹאוֹ.”
“מִצִּיּוֹן מִכְלַל יֹפִי אֱלֹהִים הוֹפִיעַ.”
“A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God YHVH, Has spoken and called the earth From the sun’s rising to its going down.”
“Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.”
And from which place did He speak? From Zion, as it is written, “Out of Zion…” From that place, which is the aspect of the completeness of faith as is proper. And Zion is his stronghold, which is the secret of the illumination of Chokmah, and its point, which is the secret of the illumination of Chessed, for the whole world. And from that place, the entire world was completed and made, that is, in its Chokmah, and from it, the world as a whole is nourished, that is, in its Chassadim.
