383. בֹּא רְאֵה, הַכֹּל הוּא בִּדְרָגוֹת יְדוּעוֹת. הַלַּיְלָה – הֲרֵי יָדוּעַ. בֹּקֶר אוֹר – הֲרֵי יָדוּעַ, וְהוּא דַּרְגָּה עֶלְיוֹנָה שֶׁנִּמְצֵאת בּוֹ תָּמִיד. מָתַי? כְּשֶׁמְּאִירָה הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ. הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ יָדוּעַ, וְהִיא דַּרְגָּה עֶלְיוֹנַה שֶׁמְּבַשֶּׂמֶת אֶת הַכֹּל וּמְאִירָה לַכֹּל, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (תהלים פד) כִּי שֶׁמֶשׁ וּמָגֵן ה’ אֱלֹהִים. וְהַבֹּקֶר אוֹר הַזֶּה מֵאִיר מֵהַשֶּׁמֶשׁ, וְזֶהוּ מֵאִיר לַלַּיְלָה, וְלָכֵן הַכֹּל תָּלוּי זֶה בָּזֶה. וְהַבֹּקֶר אוֹר הַזֶּה, כְּשֶׁהוּא מִתְעוֹרֵר, כָּל בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם מִתְאַחֲדִים בְּאַחְדוּת וּבְשִׂמְחָה, וְהֵם נִמְצָאִים בָּעוֹלָם. וְכָעֵת הֲרֵי מֵאִיר הַיּוֹם, עֵת רָצוֹן הִיא לָלֶכֶת בַּדֶּרֶךְ.

Come and see: Everything is on known levels. “Night” is known — that is, Malchut. “Morning light” is known — that is, a supernal level, Yessod, which is always found in Malchut when she illuminates. When is it found in her, in Malchut? When the sun shines. The sun is known — that is the supernal level that sweetens everything and illuminates everything — that is, Tiferet, as it is said: “כִּי שֶׁמֶשׁ וּמָגֵן יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים” “For YHVH God is sun and shield” (Psalms 84:12). And this morning light — which is Yessod — illuminates from the sun, which is Tiferet, and this, Yessod, illuminates the night, which is Malchut. Because of this, everything depends on each other. And when this morning light is aroused, all the children of the world — that is, all the levels of Malchut that is called “world” — unite in oneness with joy, and are found in the world. And now, behold, the day has dawned — it is a time of favor to go on the way.
