When Adam sinned, it is written;
Isaiah 50:1
“כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה אֵי זֶה סֵפֶר כְּרִיתוּת אִמְּכֶם אֲשֶׁר שִׁלַּחְתִּיהָ אוֹ מִי מִנּוֹשַׁי אֲשֶׁר מָכַרְתִּי אֶתְכֶם לוֹ הֵן בַּעֲו‍ֹנֹתֵיכֶם נִמְכַּרְתֶּם וּבְפִשְׁעֵיכֶם שֻׁלְּחָה אִמְּכֶם.”
“Thus says YHVH: “Where is the certificate of your Mother’s divorce, Whom I have put away? Or which of My creditors is it to whom I have sold you? For your iniquities, you have sold yourselves, And for your transgressions, your Mother has been sent away.”
The king, the Father, said to the Mother, Didn’t I tell you that he was going to sin, and why did you create him?! At that time, he expelled the son and his Mother with him. That is why it is written, “A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son is his mother’s grief.” (Proverbs 10:1). A wise son – this is the son of Atzilut, which is Zeir Anpin. A foolish son is the first Adam from the world of Beriah (creation).

All the friends stood up and said, Rabbi Rabbi, is there a separation between Father and Mother? We see that from the Father comes a man from the world of Atzilut, and on the Mother’s side, a man from the world of Beriah.
Rabbi Shimon told them, friends, it is not like that. A man of Atzilut, a male is from the side of Father, and a female is from the side of Mother. “And God said let there be light” is from Father, and “And there was light” is from Mother’s side. Man (first Adam) was created with two faces, meaning they were attached, from Father and Mother to show that Father and Mother are on one level.

But for the man from the world of Beriah, we don’t see the image and likeness of Father and Mother in him. It means that from its roots, there is no relation to Father and Mother to receive image and likeness. Mother had a related name that is light and darkness, with the same numerical value of אֱלֹהִים ELHYM, 86. Because of that corresponding name from the upper Binah and is related to Malchut, the Father said that the created man would sin.
