Zohar Beresheet
Continued from previous DZ
#161
A woman does not have permission to do anything without her husband’s permission. All the buildings that were in the world of Atzilut, Father (Chokmah), would say to Mother (Binah), Let there be …such and such, and immediately it was done by Mother, as it is said “And God said let there be light and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). The owner of the building, Father, said to Mother, “ELHYM” “Let there be…”, and the master craftsman immediately does. And so all the buildings, meaning the levels that came out of Atzilut. He would say, “Let there be a firmament,” “Let there be lights in the firmament,” and everything was done immediately.

#162
The world When he arrived at the level that is separated from Atzilut, meaning to the world that is not all Light like Atzilut, the master craftsman said to the owner of the building, Let us make man in our image. This was opposite the way it was up to this point when the master craftsman followed the owner of the building.
Now, the master craftsman asks to create man. The building owner said it is certainly good to do it, but he will sin before you because he is a fool. This is what it says;
Proverbs 10:1
“The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son is his mother’s grief.”
It means that the father said that man’s sin doesn’t reach him, but to Mother, as it said, “a foolish son is the grief of his mother.”

#163
Mother said, since his sin depends on the mother and not the father, I want to create him in my image. This is what is written;
Genesis 1:27
“So God (אֱלֹהִים ELHYM) created man in His own image; in the image of God (ELHYM) He created him; male and female He created them.”
It is written “in his own image,” not “in our image” because Mother did not want to include Father.

Lesson;
Because sins don’t reach the level of Chokmah, Father, man would not have sinned because the higher light wipes all darkness/negative.
Genesis 1:26 says, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,” but since the subject of sins was mentioned, Binah, an aspect of ELHYM, created man in her image, meaning the aspect of Left and judgments. That is why Man is in the world of Malchut.
