Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -1036

Tikkun 5 – 10

The soul level of Neshama is the highest level that can be achieved in the corporeal body in the world of Malchut.

The five levels are Nefesh, Ruach, Neshamah, Chaya, Yechida. The last two are achievable on the spiritual level and future worlds that will exist after Mashiach rules the world.

As we progress on our spiritual path, we may gain the additional soul levels of Ruach and Neshamah. When the soul leaves the body for the night, it goes through a process that evaluate, and balance, the impurities (negative actions) against the new light achieved by good actions of the soul. The good actions help in removing the negative actions and in the morning the person starts a new ‘balance sheet’ with carry over from previous days.

The Zohar references the following verse from Job 7:18 to teach us that every action we do is counted.

“ וַתִּפְקְדֶנּוּ לִבְקָרִים; לִרְגָעִים, תִּבְחָנֶנּוּ.”
“And you visit him every morning, and try him every moment”

The Zohar reveals to us that the prosecutor can bring to court and testify only on our actions. The Shechina reads our thoughts but testifies for us only on the positive thoughts. If we had thoughts about harming another person but didn’t follow with actions, then it doesn’t count against us. If we wished to do good for others but couldn’t do it, it is still considered as good action and is counted to our benefits.

When a person leaves the world, he is thrown to fire to cleanse the impurities before moving on to the next life with a new vessel that matches his soul.

It is in our best interest to build a good balance sheet of good actions and to meditate for others to build a better and bigger vessel for the Light of the Final Redemption that is in immeasurable proportions to the small positive actions that we are doing in this world and life.
